You can save up to 18 players per week can't you, or am I missing something? Just call up all the saves for Monday's financial update and remove them once they are on the market, then recall the real players for the game.

Well I can do that but I was hoping that the enthusiasm can recover by the time we have the scrimmages which do count a little and which may be winnable. So the plan was to do all the checking by Wednesday, hopefully enthusiasm will be up to 2-3 by monday, then tie tie and we should be near 5 for the scrimmages.

i dont think that saving the 19 yo will be of any help coz they will be 20 in a few weeks and no manager will buy any 19yo at this time.....
apart from these 6 Amantasayan Singh can also be saved but still the ques will be...will it be of any help to save him...he is injured for 2 weeks and his height is too much less for a guard....no manager would waste time on this kinda player...
so in the end the top 6 acc to me are the ones listed on the top...

Thanks. Yes sometimes some of the guys are close but not quite there. Don't forget the "quality" of our current team. Any big man given a season and a half of good training would probably have made the team and improved our results and some managers just go crazy over potential even if the player is well behind.

Ok here are the saves.

Everyone agreed on Sharma, so he is in.
Two liked Pushparaj so he is in.
Everyone liked Safdar Raihan so he is in.
Everyone liked Harish so he is in. He may even play this week!
Everyone also liked Jayasimha Tripathi another easy choice.

So that leaves us with one more, with the choice really being 19 1/2 year old Haque or the injured and low potential Singh. Both are borderline but what the heck I decided to let them both go, I hope we can do better and we have just 5 more spots now after saving those 5 guys.

Ok cool :) Hopefully they'll find great managers who'll look after them.

Guys I know we will get thrashed in the last two games but I just want everyone to know how proud I am of all of you and of what we have achieved. We have 2 wins which is as much as season 14 when we had a much better team. Hopefully that will get us decent seeding in the consolation tournament (although I confess I don't really know how that works).

Next season may well be a total disaster before our new stream of players comes through. But the important thing is that we have done somethin for the long term in saving so many good players for the future of our great nation and I am sure both the U21 team and the NT team will benefit for seasons to come.

The five new free agents have been sold and at least four of them look great and hopefully we will be seeing them back on our U21 team in a few seasons.

Sorry I haven't been on much recently it is exams over here and I have been very busy the last two weeks and then next wek too. So I have just been keeping the important stuff going like setting the lineups. I will get back to things in a bit more detail very soon.

I do want to say again to everyone that has helped that this has been a fantastic bridging season for us and we have made tremendous strides. Next season will be dismal but seasons 18 and 19 are looking amazing and if next season is as bad as I fear then we will probably concentrate on ensuring season 20 is teriffic too!

We actually in the end missed out on making the next round by 5 points in effect. We lost the crucial game to Hanguk by 4 and they made it and we missed out. If we had beaten them we would have been in and they would have been out. Such is life. We have learnt a great deal this season which will benefit us for seasons to come. I am hoping that in season 18 and 19 we wont just scrape into the second round of the Asian Championships but that we will be one of the strong teams. Here's hoping!
