Eff you Luna for fouling out and having 4 fouls in the first effing quarter. Eff you Floyd effing Carlton for taking 19 effing shots, you Kobe Bryant chucking mother eff-er. Darryl Meek, seriously? Eff you, too. Eff my whole starting lineup for being in 8GS...besides Bowens, I effing love Bowens. Eff that game.

If PwnStarws doesn't guess GDP, and his 73K guard doesn't get injured in the first 10 minutes of the game...we're looking at a completely different score here. GG

I imagine this as a post game meeting 'speech' to your team, and them all leaving in tears.
Except Bowens. He's getting ready to be yelled at, but then is happy he isn't, but then is worried that everyone will think he's the new coach's pet. Being a fictional basketball player is stressful.

My buddy used to give me a hard time when I would talk about my players or get mad at how one of my games was going saying "you sure get worked up over a bunch of a 1's and 0's"

Nice. That's pretty awesome.
I've mentioned this game enough times, and also had to check my games and/or auctions with friends around enough for them to develop a nominal amount of interest in my team. It isn't uncommon for friends & family to ask "How is Spencer Sylvester doing?" or "Are the Sungrazers going to promote this season?"

That's bizarre, but funny that they show such an interest towards your BB team. In high school, I would always be on buzzerbeater - break, computer class, study hall...any down time I had, I would be on BB. My friends - not really knowing what BB was, other than a basketball fantasy game that I played - would greet me by yelling, "buzzerbeater!" Lmao.

My literature teacher had us write epic poems, and he would read them in front of the class. Well, one of my poems was based on a world where wars were fought by playing basketball to the death. I titled my poem "Buzzerbeater." It was such a silly poem, but the way my teacher read it -- with such elegance, emphasis and power....it was perfect. Even so, no one took my poem seriously of course. The class burst into laughter as he dramatically read the title: "BUZZZERBEATERRRR!"

BB in relation to my other 'teams'

Washington Redskins v. generals: the skins find such new and imaginative ways to lose (see last weekend) and the ownder is suck a Richard, and the nickname is about to be made illegal, and I have never been able to get into the Panthers even though they are just a couple hours down the road and I've known their radio guy Mick Mixon personally for about 30 years. I have no NFL team, winner BB


UNC football v. BB I actually did not miss a Tar Heel home football game for over 25yrs. Still love to go when I can, but the coach I am at best lukewarm on and UNC football is pre programmed to not just break your heart but shatter it into a million pieces. However we beat Ga Tech last time out in dramatic fashion and the schedule is real favorable. Draw

UNC basketball v Generals: Ok this is tough, especially since I see a little Dean in the AI's coaching philosophy. I guess the heels get the nod because they were here first, and they will be here after. Tar Heels

Red Sox v. BB: as cool as Fenway is, much as I love Boston as a city, no brainer, Generals

That sucks! What lvl doctor do you have?

Jonny Kearney had a 4 week injury last season, but it extended into the 5th week of training, even with a lvl 4 doctor. I was irate. I've since down graded my doctor to lvl 3 w/ taping.

They don't have a Doctor. Phyr hired a bouncer instead to save money....but he's not a very bright bouncer....When instructed to "go take care of " of somebody...he misunderstood the target, and knee capped one of the very players he was supposed to protect!
