This account might be new, but i am not new to this game nor managing a national team. I have a firm grasp on what it takes to win and i understand it all can't be built in one season,, but it sure as butter can be undone. you need ambition, drive, vision leadership. Falling into a position of power is often the first red flag. As is the case here.

The voters are listening, The NT is not something i am ready for the pool is too big and i don't have the resources to source and scout and rotate all these players. I will run Next season for U21 which is much more manageable. As i am able to get more of my friends into the game. They're currently 5 votes represented in this country 3 of which i can sway because i know them personally [that is an auto win]. Honestly no clear cut favourites. You guys are "answering without answering"

Questions for ALL NT coach hopefuls:

What do you believe are the major issues holding back the Barbados NT and how will you attack them?

I know they're currently only 5 active managers but i do not want that to a basis for any argument as is the case with many Barbadian teams when we get above average prospects we quickly place them on the market for a quick profit. I have already gotten 2 teams on board with a development process so talent isn't wasted.

But to my point Most if not ALL the players on the NT are from teams outside of "BIM" how do you plan to bring them all together? Do you have a system for scouting? Not just NT hopefuls but opponents...Looking at our NT we can be alot better than we are.

Do you have a criteria in place to give prospective trainers of NT players something to shoot for?

I'm sure i will have more questions later today?

Personally I do not care that the national team players are coached by a manager of a country rather than another, what interests me is that the owner can ensure a proper workout to the player.

Here we talk about players for a national team is not a u21, many of the players in the current national team would reach their potential before becoming 22 years old if trained on an ongoing basis, of course managers were not motivated to train the players.
I myself have reached a potential of two of my players (8) in the season when they had 21 years.

To remain the most promising players in Barbados .. Why not, it is important that managers are willing to make sacrifices (constant training, coach level 4 or higher, let him maintain a high form ..), but it is said outside that things can get better.

As I said in my post of presentation: I was a member, for several seasons, of the scouting staff of the Italian national team U21, which followed promising players to train them as best for them to play in a national "rich" and competitive as the Italian one. I have personally built several players who have played in the u21 national team and national team of their country.
I can say, therefore, to be clear what it is used for a player to be a player from the national team.

I'm sure i will have more questions later today?

I'm sorry but I can not know if you have other questions in the day =P

Sorry I didn't have the chance to answer your questions earlier.

What do you believe are the major issues holding back the Barbados NT and how will you attack them?

I believe the major issues are a lack of development of potential U21 NT players through proper training and poor game planning by not having a well developed gameplan based on strengths and weaknesses of our team and the oppoent. The former would be addressed by connecting with managers of these players and assisting them in their training programs, particularly if they're newer managers. The latter would be taken care of as I spend more time studying opponents and building the best team possible out of the current team by utilizing the strengths of the U21 Barbados squad.

But to my point Most if not ALL the players on the NT are from teams outside of "BIM" how do you plan to bring them all together? Do you have a system for scouting? Not just NT hopefuls but opponents...Looking at our NT we can be alot better than we are.

In my mind it's all about reaching out and establishing good communication so that you know what the varying managers' training plans are and can possibly encourage them to train their players according to fit them best into the U21 Barbados team's strategy. This obviously starts with identifying and finding all the potential U21 Barbados players out there which starts with research, where I would begin by going through the Draft History and former teams.

The most efficient way for scouting is to simply have a database. Because there is not such a large pool of Barbados players out there, this could be managed easier than most countries.

Do you have a criteria in place to give prospective trainers of NT players something to shoot for?

It is hard for me to say at the moment because I would want to start by evaluating the current talent pool. That would give me an idea of how to devise offensive/defensive tactics for the current team as well as what the future would look like. Once i have strategy in mind, it would give me a better idea of what type of criteria I am looking for at each position. Granted though, there are baseline stats that should be sought out in the varying positions, for example, a Center with pitiful Rebounding is just not going to cut it.
