It looks like I added approx 2000 bleachers and 300 lower tier. With my ticket prices, that added about $20k. Seeing as I am paying the current guy $18k, I'm not sure if it's worth it or not. Although, I'm seeing competent guys salaries are about 8k-10k, so maybe it is?

My ticket prices are 9/22/105/525, but I'm tanking on purpose, so the prices need to be a lot lower. You should be able to see everyone's ticket prices on their respective arena pages.

I know a lot of you are interested in shotblocking too. I've noticed something with one of my utopia players that starts to confirm some thoughts I saw on shotblocking a while ago. Specifically, that shotblocking was a "second chance" defense - if your defense isn't good enough from stopping the opposing player from getting the shot off, your shotblocking might be enough to stop the shot from going in. Basically what I've noticed is this: the top guy in the league for blocked shots has good SB and low ID: Milo Dobrašinovic is averaging 3.3 blocks per game on 40.9 minutes (23 blocks in 7 games) with 7 SB and 3 ID (playing at PF).

Anyone else notice anything similar?

I'm at 13/23/108/535 (for arena with seats at 12000/5500/500/50). I think 12 may be the ideal bleacher size; I went up to 13 based on a relatively strong first third of the season and haven't gotten 10k in either game so far. Now that my TV game spot in the fan survey is also positive, if I can pull off a win at Minnesota I should be able to have nearly ideal fan survey results for my next home game to see if the 13 price can work then. I am pretty happy with the number of seats going in the non-bleacher sections, though.

I think most teams have the correct ticket prices or near it.

Currently I lead season ticket avg at 378K/week. Lethargy is at the bottom with 258K. So most teams fall within 75-100% range of the top teams.

Promotion = roughly +$40K a week when tickets are priced optimally at Div II (over top winning teams).
Demotion = roughly -20K based on Silverbacks. Although that may be a bad example. For instance they sell better court/lux than I do, despite the demotion.
Good teams = +30K avg unless promoting (over losing teams)

The above assumes same size arena and ticket prices.

As for having a high level PR Manager, the general consensus is that it helps losing teams and demoting teams with little effect on winning or promoting teams. So towards the end of the season it will probably make sense for me to upgrade my PR Manager. However, Cassville Yuck for instance will probably not want to.

Overall, arena attendance although helpful long-term, its effect season to season is not that dramatic. Making cash via training and trading is quicker but more complicated.

Why is it when I find a player that looks like a bargain there is always some jackass from China bidding on him too? Well this time the jackass is the #1 player in China.

Last time I bid against some chinese dude it was for a really original player with like 12 shot blocking that was still a trainee. He ended up getting a sweet deal on him as it was around 3 am when the bid completed and I was fast asleep. Some guy who has made like 30 million on trades...where as I was going to use him as major component of my training long-term.

Nothing against chinese players, but damnit quit bidding on guys I want! You made enough money already! They must be descendants of Khan...maybe even carry his name.

Because I was sleeping, so the Department of Jackassery and Asshattery had to call in one of our overseas agents.

The worst is when I actually wake up at 3am to bid on a guy and someone from China still outbids me.
