Indeed, I would not wish to be involved in knowing skills of players, I would not feel that appropriate given my current position in EBBL. I could compile a basic list of the players that are out there however. I agree that it is not something I would do without express request from the NT managers.

I've got a list, you've got a list and I'm sure a few others have too. Basically, I'm looking at Gully.

As Lemon knows, I have a list. He sent it to me.

we need to manage MVP and HoF players better between ages 22 and 25. Who does this?

we need a group of owners to committed to buying any 22-27yr old MVP or better who come onto the market . Who co-ordinates this?

There's two separate things there. There doesn't seem to be a group of such owners. So its easy to coordinate.

I think you know as well as I do, or you should, that not every trainee becomes available on the market. And many aren't trained to even the age of 21. I can't broker what isn't available.

Somehow I get the sense that people are looking to attach blame here. If thats the case then fine. But that's not going to do us much good a few months from now, or further down the line.

Perfect post. I asked some of these things before in this thread and expressed my opinion on all the others, by agreeing/disagreeing and providing arguments in favor of my stance. The only other who has done this is Vecx. I'd like others to do the same.

Others in general or me more specifically? You're very hard to understand when you're being ambiguous.

Your general attitude when providing arguments is I'm sure, putting some people off posting. Not me, I might add. You can say what you like to me. I barely have time for this thread because of all the mail I get about how badly this thread is going. Not to mention things I actually have to do away from my laptop.

I'm not interested in blame, I'm interested in recognition of areas of improvement and moving forwards. God, I feel like I'm at work now. Anyway...

What I see is that the 22-25 age group appears not to be actively managed, and want suggestions on who should do this.

The NT Manager?

The U21 Manager?

An assistant to either of the above, call them the U25 co-ordinator or something?

---

Point two - all this really requires is for interested managers to make themselves known to whoever is going to be the broker, and drawing attention to any players on the market via a forum. If the u25 co-ordinator is actively managing relationships with the managers of these players, that helps.

I think the broker pretty much has to be the NT manager, for reasons of credibility with potential vendors. Other views welcome.

--

Point three - I think we're wisely all still on a break from discussing this any further.
