3 mil is a bit steep for someone you need to train 3-4 seasons for...
I would gladly sell him for 2mil if I had him LOL

how would you train him anyways.. 6"6 and it take ages to get his IS up to SF standard.

Hey guys,
I have always trained Jump Shot at wingmen in the past. Just wondering if there is an advantage or disadvantage to training Jump Shot for Guards.

The traning speed analysis suggests that there is a disadvantage, but I was wondering if anyone here had some personal experience with training Jump Shot for guards and wingmen and if there is any real difference.
thanks

I thought the only real difference was the secondaries it gave.. well it was what I read somewhere, never really tried it before.

JS @ Guards trains JS, JR, IS
JS @ wingmens trains JS, IS, JR

So maybe the secondaries are weighted differently.
I'm really only speculating here.

If I had him I would glady sell him for 2 million. But as a buyer, if he was Australian, I would happily pay up to 3 million.

His current skills are:
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: respectable Passing: average
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: awful Free Throw: strong

I would buy a level 6 trainer.
I would train:
OD 1 position for the whole season (14 weeks) = 8 pops of OD. 2 pops of ID. 2 pops of Handling. 2 pops of driving.
Jump Range 1 position for 6 weeks = 3 pops in JR. 1 pop in JS. 1 pop in Handling. 1 pop in Driving.
Passing 1 position for 8 weeks = 5 pops in passing. 2 pops in Handling. 2 pops in Driving.
Jump Shot Wingmen for 8 weeks = 5 pops in JS. 1 pop in JR. 1 pop in Handling. 1 pop in Driving. 1 pop in IS.
Rebounding C/PF for 6 weeks = 4 pops in Rebounding.
Inside Shot 1 position for 14 weeks = 8 pops in IS. 4 pops in ID. 4 pops in JS.

By this time the player will be about to turn 22 and his skills will be:
Jump Shot: stupendous Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: sensational
Driving: tremendous Passing: prolific
Inside Shot: sensational Inside Def.: tremendous
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: strong

The perfect player for me :)

I wouldn't pay 3 million for that purely because I don't like his low secondaries.

what about at forwards?
I trained my guys at forward positions
- the trainees that get minutes from SF pop in J.R and the trainees that get trained at PF pop in I.S.

Yo! Yo! D for D best PF in D Aussie BB. D Name is Kye Duffill (10080211), averages nothing but pure amazing! Vote for Duffman!

Perennial Allstar, goodluck getting those skills out of him...

Riviera my draft pick is being bounced around like a hooker! If only I had the money to buy him again...

Riviera, McArthur, Dell'Asta. 3 perfect trainee.s Ahh I can dream. I'll just have to stick with Diakogeorgiou for now.

Training JS for Wingmen is the same speed for JS, but gives priority to IS as a secondary rather than JR like JS for guards does.

As long as you don't use JS for fowards, way too slow.

Awesome trainee you have there! You should give him 1 position shot block training for 28 weeks straight!

Yeah superstar potential is probably required, but we are all just dreaming anyway :P I will one day get a great player in the draft that is around 6'5" and has no skill less than mediocre! With a salary above 5k and superstar or higher potential!
I'm considering tanking this season to get a great draft pick and then promote back to div 2 next season. But we'll see if I can find someone good in the draft.
