having just tanked a full season i know for a fact if koop does that what ever side of the bowl he is on it will ruin that side of the pl.

i thought yoda said somewhere that if your tanking a full season not to put your name forward for season 3 ?

dont get me wrong i want koops in , just worried the pl will suffer badly from a team with no players.

Yes still deciding, but I'm not the type to give up so easily. But who knows. 0-4 is not looking good.

And yes Stephen Bradbury deserves that gold, don't bag him out LOL he trained long and hard to put himself in that position to win that race. Sure he got lucky, but he fully deserved that gold =P

Same can be said for me, sure I got lucky, but I deserve to be in the ABBL =P gosh right now there a half a dozen teams in div2 that are way better then mine...

LOL the only people who will suffer are my team mates...
It will be them who I will be letting down if I choose to play with 3 trainees all season.

This is why we wanted to only have a friends only PL, so teams can feel free to tank or go AWOL for weeks without getting any scrutiny from the PL.

Surely if you tank and buy Waza you'll buy a couple of gun 20-21yo trainees who will be decent anyway as well? Not like Div.3 teams in the east will be smashing him with 3 quality players and some fillers...

i am sure no-one would mind koop tanking if he was in the east

tanking in the west would really spoil things a bit

but then again i am not sure how the composite ladders will be done but if we are like last season where the top team gets 24 points, the second top 23 etc then i would assume that the bottom team in the west would get 13 points and the top team in the east would get 12

and yeah stephen bradbury is an aussie legend, probably one of my 3 favourite non-swimming and non-basketball aussie olympians in the last 20 years

yeh koop tanking wouldn't affect our conference i wouldn't believe, but it does make it bad for the guys in the higher division.

this is the first i heard of SAS swapping with Maggots as well, either way i think will be fine, they're both middle teams who can compete with the big boys and also be the upper tier teams of the lower division.

maybe a 3rd division to be created? hahah

I'm happy if you need to tank and stay in our side, sometimes you need to take a step backwards before you can go forwards.

I'm getting sick of our side always winning anyway :p

Tank if it's best for your team koop's and set yourself up for another crack at the ABBL in 2 seasons, I'm 100 % behind ya.

i think if koop just kept cox, khan and rooney + some low rent big men he could still win some games in the east

mind you i think if he got the opportunity to just train for a season he should buy a sensational trainee like iwen did with ton and just pump him like crazy

Back to the draft would the order be something like this?

1. Guppies
2. Kevin
3. Calamari
4. Sharks

Either that or we go with completely random but have a reverse order draft eg...

1. Team A
2. Team B
3. Team C
4. Team D
5. Team D
6. Team C
7. Team B
8. Team A

That way someone might get llama but the weakest team also?
