Congrats JMA, u drew first blood and thoroughly embarrassed my team. How your SG outscores/outplays mine is a mystery which I put down to better tactics on your part. Will try to rectify that, see you later on in the season.

It's a welcome change for me getting off to such a great start! Game 2 will be a much bigger challenge against Vis Maior who seems to play some unusual tactics. Very surprised Kirltom played low post against the dominant bigs owned by DFBS. I will welcome a similar strategic set up! ;-)

Maybe Vis Maior is trying to say thank you for kicking his ass last play off. I often have to remind him that his inside offense are futile against my bigs. but i can't blame the guy since defending against a multi-dimensional team can be mentally draining.
Muvley at SG playing 48 minutes and C.T... tsk tsk... cheeky cheeky....., expecting Vis Maior to tank his next match.

Congrats to you for winning your first DIV3 game. I expected nothing less from the former DIV2 team. You demonstrated such animal cruelty, using maximum force on weak giraffe.

Vis Maior can tank as much as they like on Tuesday... :-D

I wouldn't say that I used "maximum" force Datz but I certainly wanted to get off to the right start. You have to remember my lads are coming off a relegation and disappointing two last seasons. They need to get their confidence back up so they are ready for the BIG showdown! ( I expect your team would have no trouble staying up in DIV2)

I had a deeper look into this and I find it extremely odd that Kilr would play C.T. with 3 of his usual starters all rested. PG - Rizza, SG - Savcukas and C - Vandini all missing?! Especially odd to play low post with Mulvey at SG. Would have thought Run & Gun or at least Push the Ball would have made more sense.

From what i've noticed this is nothing like a usual team line-up/strategy from Vis Maior. Tricky Kilr trying to play mind games I think! I'm very intrigued to see what exactly lines up on Tuesday now.

I guess Vis Maior is trying out new tactics. I don't know why he would put Muvley at SG and play 48 minutes + L.P while his inside scoring and passing is shocking. This hints to me that these players are the best for inside offense and the others are...........

Another strange thing I noticed since last season after I played 48 min for 10 players during ASW, he has been doing the same ever since.....who knows what Vis Maior is thinking.... he looks like he has some big plan in store for you and me.

I'm just relieved to see that his BB team hasn't yet reached the same formidable level as his Battrick team. The title would be a forgone conclusion if so. Best get out of the league before he starts to take over! :-P

Wow, I got a real lesson first up. My first loss in about 20 league games. I think my team will get stronger as the season progresses. I need another good big guy bad.

Wouldn't mind watching tonight's big match up between my lads and Vis Maior. Unfortunately I have footy training and won't see the result until after. This is a must win game imo and hopefully things will go my way.

How is everyone else feeling ahead of tonight's games?

I feel my team could be in 8th position after tonights game. For some reason, even though my players have skills in the right areas, it seems they can't compete with the best teams in our division, so am hoping it's not an annihilation on DFBS' part.
