Haha yep I've had my eye on him too. That $3mil price tag though was a sore for my eye.

It's time we set some things straight here in this II.4 place.

The thing is, you guys spending money to bring in new players and selling players is all good. I encourage that, in fact, when the time is right. But the time to buy a >100k salary super stud is *after* you play me, not before. The time to sell off most of your players is before you've played me, not after.

I trust you will all avoid making these mistakes again. Love and mTIEs for all!

Oh man oh man
These moves are forcing me to break my bank
Now I need to unload all theses 40yr olds and get a real bench
As I keep on getting my ass kicked when the starters sit

It's pretty impressive how you keep great GS when you have 3 games a week.

I really hate how I have to tank league games for cups

Well, if it makes you feel better, neither do I. My roster as it stands right now is about 55k higher in salary than yours and depending on attendance, I might break even weekly when I get Cup income. Based on their arena receipts, Silverbacks and Yuck are probably at a small weekly deficit too. I know Yuck's got the money to cushion that for a while, and I imagine it's no real strain for Silverbacks either. I am running it more tight - the week after the all-star game I don't have a home game, which will put me behind the curve for a little while until my two home games in the next to last week of the season.

As far as losing in the last minutes, I'd have to disagree. Other than our game, which did come down to the wire, your other two losses were pretty clear cut - Diorite had you down 20 with 7:44 to go and then even with your 14-0 run after that, you never got closer than 5. Jack Rabbits had you down by double digits the entire fourth quarter.

I'm personally a believer in depth. If you sort by top five salaries, I'm tenth in the league, but I've got the highest salaries for the 6th through 10th players by a pretty wide margin. If your starters can play even and your backups play better, generally that's a winning formula.

Totally agree with u
The rabbit had hoa and played harder than me, no surprise I lost there
But dp game man, had 30 off reb, drew a ton of fouls, I don't know how his backup sf with strong id held my sf to 25% shooting on all those layup
When my guy has a much larger IS
My team is getting crushed on 2,3 quarters all year ling Bc of depth

Our game was down to the wire, surprised by a couple of t/0 at the end

I guess my guards are not worthy of their salaries
I don't how the GE works
But I wonder LI can just dump the ball inside and let my twin towers go to work
It's apparent those are the best shots as they shoot close to 50%

And let my shooters just spread the floor unless there is a double team, I am not sure if there is one in BB

The Rabbits are tough. I played them in the PL early in the season and then the other night and I'm just glad I won't be seeing some of those players again.

I think the problem you had against Diorite is the problem a lot of teams have against them. Your offense was good enough to win - 97 points in four quarters should usually be good, even if your shooting percentage was lower than you might have expected. But what killed you is that he scored 108 - and especially Bilbija had one of those games that make him one of those players I hate to go up against.

Our game was pretty typical - low scoring, low shooting percentages, and I ended up forcing a pretty decent number of turnovers. The fact that they came mostly late was a little bit of a surprise, but I generally lead the league both in most turnovers forced and fewest turnovers committed so that part rarely surprises me. Klein fouling out and Busch not having foul trouble, on the other hand, is shocking to me - Busch is often a foul machine, while Klein generally doesn't foul much at all. Not complaining though.

The shooters spreading the floor is a wonderful concept that doesn't work in BB. If you're running LI, your guys won't hit outside shots unless the opponent is horribly overmatched.

I wouldn't say spreading the floor is impossible,it's just that players aren't built for it.

I'm pretty sure you could do that by making sure your players have have JR but low DR. That would mean that they would rely more on just straight Jump shooting rather than trying to create their own shot with a drive.

Also, add some passing on those guys with high JR and I'm pretty sure they will get a lot of assists from dishing to the big men.

Lots of people say JR doesn't effect the game engine other than just making shots and I dissagree. During my time having different players with a variety of JR I notice that those with higher JR tend to hand out more assists with less passing. Also, those with high passing but low JR tend to not have as many assists as one would think because they don't spread the floor well.

Just my thoughts about it.

I actually have decent jr on my guards 15
I don't know if u just need a 16 passing to get the ball moving
