I am actually pretty excited for my first p/o run in this league.


Wow. I hadn't realized you had never made the playoffs here - I've certainly always considered you as being one of the better teams in your conference. I'd love to see you get a runner-up trophy this year. ;)

Y'know, I'd be rooting for you, but I'm afraid that would mean another season of listening to hrudey lament about how his poor team blew another season. I think it is time to get rid of him. lol.

Really looking forward to our playoffs this season. I think the two regular season winners are the favorites, but I do think that anyone could win any of the opening games, and probably any of the possible future match-ups. That kind of wide open post season is just fun.

Poor Morgan Menard. I just watched the ESPN 30 for 30 on him last night. It doesn't matter how well he plays, everyone always criticizes his ugly mug. Even Christian Laettner has suggested that the press take it easy on him.

In all seriousness, we need you and your 5th ranked in the country team to promote. Get to the NBBA and show those scoundrels the kind of menacing team that emerges from the boiling lava cauldron of DII.4!
(on the flipside, my team is busy drowning in said lava)

My PF has 2 fouls in 5 minutes and my center 3 in 6 minutes. Not sure why I bothered looking in. Hopefully this is like last time I watched live, where as soon as I close the browser window my team does a 180.

I can't wait to see how big the pile of money is going to be after splitting the New York Chickens' gate receipts.

In other news, my homegrown Utopia team upset the #1 seed and won their first playoff game! Woohoo!

Oh LOL, that's hilarious. Forgot about the revenue split. I'd die laughing if your series somehow went to a game 3. (accidental forfeit perhaps?)

Not watching my non-Utopia game, but am still online. Can almost guarantee I've got a PF/C with 5+ fouls in under 15 min. I'd be willing to bet $100, no joke.

Well I barely bothered to set a lineup so it's just as well that whoever I'm playing beats me. It's fortunate that GMs/managers are never fired for negligence in BB. (Who owns our teams? Or are we combo owner-GMs? Our team pages simply list us simply as "manager") Whenever my guards age out I'll probably just free-fall to D4/D5. Don't really feel like using the TL.

Oh, speaking of the 30-30 series you mentioned earlier... the Sonny Vaccaro one was kind of interesting. Wonder why he was fired from Nike though? The only other recent one I half watched was the Laettner one.

Do you want to keep the result of your game a secret? I won't say anything, just in case.

Another good 30-30 was the one about the SF earthquake back in '89 at game 3 of the World Series. Brought back memories.

I am very upset with this p/o revenue splitting bs. Are we at least playing 2 p/o games on this saturday and next tuesday? I just realized that my team might has a chance going bankruptcy.

Yeah, you play the conference final on Saturday, then the finals are next Tuesday, the following Saturday, and Sunday (if needed).
