The first quarter was neck and neck, but the combination of Slashing Dragons putting up 74 points in the next two quarters. Was just too much to contend with. The dragons nailed 18 three pointers on 53% shooting from beyond the arc. Managing to kept the game continuiously out of reach winning 109 - 96 at home.

They finished 1st and 2nd in the Big 8 last two seasons and they seemed favorites to duke it out to be conference champs again. However, Mighty Moose Rockets won that battle going on to the finals both seasons.

With the Rockets currently looking to move on from Rodrigo Exequiel Cuberas (50330560). It will be a big question mark on the team's fortunes moving forward.

They have played 6 times in the last 2 seasons with them splitting the series 3-3. This should be our most tantelizing matchup yet.

Round 3 is in the books with Mighty Moose Rockets stamping their superiority in this league with a 28 point victory on the second strongest team in the Big 8. The second and third quarters really put the game out of reach with absolutely shut down perimeter defense. I mean that literally 0-ffer for the Dark Matter going 0 of 16 from behind the arc. Can anyone break out of this stifling defense this season?

These two teams have never played before despite being both tenured managers.

The Xenos won the USA IV.23 Championship last season after going 21-1. Meanwhile River Monsters finished 4th up here in USA III.7 going 12-10 with a first round exit to eventual winners Monkeykid Maniacs in the playoffs.
