If you say so. There is never a reason to have more than 4-6 trainees though. You cannot argue that. Even 4-6 is a huge stretch. Usually 3 is the max unless you are training multiple positions. None of your players are going to reach 1/4 of their potential with how many you are trying to develop. I also do not think that it is that hard to promote to D.III. Myself and many other managers have promoted to D.III after only a few seasons in D.IV. In fact if i remember correctly i think I went from D.V to D.III in two seasons without much trouble. I personally would not let you coach our U21NT but maybe in smaller countries they wont care as much.

And definitely agreed on having a team full of young, high potential players. If you're not actively training a player, his potential is pointless, and if you're not going to cap them, then you don't need all of their potential anyhow. Non-training players should be purchased with an eye toward getting cost-effective players with good secondary skills for the lowest price/salary possible, and you're very unlikely to find that kind of deal with young, trainable players because you'll be competing in the market against people who want to train them properly.

I totally agree with you except the fact that I can't coach a national team. When I originally started this post, it was about taking over a position that I was under the impression(and I was totally wrong) not being active in running the team. Whether or not I am qualified to coach, I am not training players on the national team. To me, it is just another off topic conversation attacking my credibility as a coach. I don't think it really matters what division a person is in, but how long they been around(a.k.a. active). If that was the case, then my national ranking is higher than quite a few Div 4 teams as of right now. Being in a division doesn't qualify you for anything....only the team makes the difference. The beauty of Buzzerbeater is you have the option of training players the way you see fit. It doesn't matter if you are right or wrong about it(especially if you are in Div 5), but if you like the team you have. For the record, I love my team. Will I have this many young players in the next division....No. It is an ongoing process. Back to my original statement on why I got so many players is to build a "Core" team which means no Superstars.Which potentials have the best chance of "popping"...the one's I have? To be truthful, even though you made it to Div. 3, you got relegated each of the following years. I am not going to build a team that is constantly being relegated every year. More than likely, we both are going to be in Div. 4 next year.

I don't think you understand. This topic was never about training my players. It was about coaching a national team. Am I wrong in saying that you have to train national players too on your national team? That is a totally different convo. Whether I got a vote or not, I still was in the voting. That is what I am trying to point out. You can close this because this is getting pointless.
