If it makes all y'all feel better I'll be putting more focus into my NT than ever before, so perhaps my club team will fall off, but I wouldn't count on it ;)
And no rivals yet :/
And now team Captain Yannick Wollburg sits down for his annual pre-season interview:
Amad was dumped during the offseason for some big Greek guy, how's that make you feel?
-First off I'm really really going to miss Amad, he showed me a lot of what I know about being a great team player. But at the same time he was getting up there in years and I know the management is really hoping for a title this year. As for Ilias he seems like a pretty good guy so far, though practice has got kinda tough, none of us can score on the dude.
So Ilias is a pretty good defender? Do you think he'll challenge you and Archie for DPOY with Bart from Mashers gone?
-Oh yeah he's good, the best interior defender I've ever played with by far. As for that... Well I don't know, I still feel like I got gypped last season and the voters wound up going with Olivier because of his better offensive numbers, I mean c'mon I held guys to 18% shooting on the season!
A little chip on the shoulder ehh? How will that translate to court?
-Well, I think I'll focus even more on the defensive side of the ball and shutting everybody down. I'll leave the scoring and all those bigtime numbers for George.
Speaking of George, he had a pretty big season last year, finishing 3rd in the MVP voting. What do you think he'll do for an encore? And are you saying you'll be taking on more of the Pippen role?
-Oh George is gonna have a big season, I think the addition of Ilias will actually just give him more room to operate in the post. He's probably my favourite for the MVP award right now. And maybe in some ways, but that's ok because everybody knows Jordan was 1-10 in the playoffs without Scottie(everybody does know that right?)
Umm I'll be honest, I'd never heard that before...
-Oh... Well yeah, Pippen is way underrated, look it up people!
So there you go folks, would be DPOY, team-captain, and bigtime Scottie Pippen fan Yannick Wollburg.
