It also depends on the money you have available and how you rate ID vs IS vs RB. Personally, i rate defense quite high and if i had the money to improve my players, i would buy slightly higher IS (1 level or equal) quite higher ID (2-3 levels) and add 1 level of RB. Otherwise, if you don't have alot of money, just go with a balanced: IS strong, ID strong, and RB strong

thanks. I'm thinking that I'll sit down later and take a look at my current players, list off the 'critical contribution skills' as defined by the newbie help thread, and start searching for players who have at least a level higher in the top contribution skills and maybe one or two of the secondary contribution skills.

Right now I have a player on my team with IS respectable, ID average, and RB Strong. Would it be worth it to buy a player that it is IS average, ID mediocre, but has prominent rebounding? Or should I wait to find a player that has at least the same level of skills in certain area and just one or two skills that are better?

We all want to have perfect players but most of us cannot afford - so what are the right choices?

I play outside focus in offence and try to be able to adapt defence tactics to my opponent. Therefore, offensive power coming from the guards and the SF, I focus to have high defence skills for my big guys. As with outside tactics there is many missed shots, rebound skills are key.

If I was playing inside focus, I wouid require my guards to have good OD and strong ability to support my offensive flow.

Hope this is clear...
