FIBA rules:
Two unsportsmanlike fouls (flagrant foul 1 in NBA) lead to automatic ejection -> BB rule.
Fiba disqualifying foul (flagrant foul 2 in NBA) are straight ejections but those are quite uncommon and thus, the rule is fine as it is.

yer its just following standard rules
players being ejected is pretty rare. but so are flagrant fouls.
flagrant often lead to injury - id like to see more flagrant, (and hence more ejections) but a smaller flagrant-injury ratio
