Can we see his current skills??? Then it'd be easier to judge which one to train first.

But just to make a comment, apparently more managers train driving than handling because it trains JS as well fairly quickly.

In Australia we do not recommend any U21 prospects to train handling because one on one for forwards training is a great training that trains driving very fast but also handling, jump hot and inside shot quite well. Four useful skills for the price of one. A full season of it for an 18 year old should get him a mountain of pops, 5-6 DR, 2-3 HA, 2-3 JS and 1-2 IS.

My trainee needs to work on his driving. His handling is prominent now. So I guess 1-1 for forwards is the best for him right now. Is that the best way to go? His OD is tremendous his JS is proficient. The other three main skills for a guard are strong. Any advice?

Ok, then one on one training is the best. If you want his IS to be trained, then you can train one on one for forward (but this reduces the amount of JS training). If you don't want IS, then you can train one on one for guard (this increases the amount of JS training).

He is 6'5" but i'd like him to be a combo pg/sg. So I guess keep training 1-1 for guards would best. Right?

but before going for the training of his driving i would suggest you to train his JS to prominent.then train his driving to prominent and his handling would be prolific by then..then train him in passing till prominent.i think that would finish this seasons plans for him

Yea I guess guard training would be more suitable then. And you can follow BBchamp's advice too.

After todays pops here are my trainees current skills:
Aharpati Mohan (24225396) Shooting Guard
Age: 20
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Jump Shot: prominent
Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: tremendous
Handling: prolific ↑
Driving: proficient ↑
Passing: strong
Inside Shot: respectable
Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: pitiful
Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: mediocre
Free Throw: respectable

I will train 1-on-1 again this week and next week to get more pops then go with passing for the remainder of the weeks. Thats the plan you (BBall Champ) suggested, right? Or should I train JR for a few weeks as well?

My idea for him is to be a flexible combination guard so that he can play PG/SG but mostly PG.

I would get at least one pop in JR then to passing. Driving you can train next season.

i would suggest some JR as well cuz if you train passing for the remainder of the weeks then his passing would be sky high for his age and that would also cap him quickly...just a couple of pops in passing would do.then you should go for JS and JR training
