Maggots vs. SASTROOPERS 84 - 94 (28932702)

NT Big man Smeltz was at it again, with a dominating performance against the Maggots, even though they played a 2-3 zone. Urwin tried hard to drive the Maggots forward but in the end was outclassed. SASTROOPERS had a massive third quarter to draw away from the Maggots to set up the victory.

TeamAkuma vs. Eggplantpopolopolous 59 - 73 (28932701)

Eggplant picked the right defense against Akuma's inside offense, and it paid off with a solid win. Eggplant's star big men played well, shooting 50% from the field. Akuma will be dissapointed with the performance of star guard Lukic, who had a mediocre night shooting 5-13 for 10 points.

jw all-stars vs. Viral Infections 82 - 61 (28932703)

Match was never in double as Naker doesn't really have a team, but he gave it a red hot go. Castellanos was a star, scoring 20 points in 11 hot minutes.

xie scored 35 points at 47% while in defence he had 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocks while keeping the opponents best offensive player oliver to 39%

sheesh, what more does he need to do?

and "the don" had a triple double tonight...if you count turnovers

great job otherwise iwen, i love reading your writeups

He has to drag his team to victory! He played well, but the Don played bad lol. The exciting part of your game was the last quarter whn Xie and Duricko played one on one for a while.

Great write up!
I would argue that Jose should be MVP for my match though :P
Castellanos played well but his rating shows that his defence is shocking, and considering he played against my crap players there is no surprise he got so many points haha!
On the other hand, Jose played all 48 minutes, was the highest scorer in the match, had the most rebounds, and had the highest rating in the match (proving he is a defensive monster) despite playing for so long ;)
Great work on the entire recap though!!! And congrats on the tight win over Lukebee.

Jose's defensive impact can't be ignored, of course. But Castellanos's spark off the bench was a major catalyst in them pulling away, so he gets the votes, even though he can't even defend himself against a door slamming in his face.

Think somebody like J.J. Reddick, Jamal Crawford or J.R Smith. Impact off the bench even though they can't defend.

I've seen Jamal Crawford and J.R Smith take over games with their offense by not J.J. Reddick yet.

not in the nba but while he was in college he was a dominant player who was almost unstoppable as 90% of the teams offence went through him, like a poor mans pistol pete, with the same dissapointing drop of production when he hit the pros

iwen you have asked for a lot of weekly pain doing this

i do like it especially the game writeup, even though you clearly got it wrong in my game

as you said the seagulls players smacked mine in 4/5 of positions, "the don" was killed by "the devil" rad got owned by vallo, mo got barlas fouled out but xie was the one player that kept me in it, in a 118-114 result which could have gone either way until the last 10 seconds, where one team won 4/5 positions you gotta give the one guy that kept his entire game in the match more than one point
