I got lucky. If Laurent wasn't out this could be a totally different story.

Just want to say I will miss reading your posts. You will be a credit to whatever league you end up in and make the league a better place. Best to you and good luck in the draft.

So before I go, let me do a draft recap.
This season's draft is, how should I say it nicely, between mediocre and shitty.

Five draftees worth mentioning:
Cassville Yuck
Chad Langley- $ 3 238, superstar, 6'7"
Anchorage Allstars
Brad Rector- $ 3 087, superstar, 6'1"
Black Mambas
John Walter- $ 3 808, perennial allstar, 6'6"
Fern Creek Clerics
Don Chidgey- $ 2 725, perennial allstar, 6'0"
Barbarian Marauders (8th pick!)
Stephan Braswell- $ 3 754, allstar, 7'0"

No you had it rgiht, a big steemy pile of Sh**! Its totally unacceptable that we pay money for scouting and there is not at least 1 HOF/ATG and 2 MVPs in each draft. Not to mention most of the guys have 1s in places that make them almost untrainable.

The worst part of it is, that it's actually this way on purpose.

Scouting is thie biggest farce of BB. Stopped really trying there long ago.....at best it is a lottery and not worth a steady investment to draft a guy that is rated atrocious in a primary or key secondary.

I was hoping Langley would be a great SF trainee since I am working on guards currently. I figured with the PF label, his outside would need some work. Well, the big fat atrocious JR really puts a bind in his ability to ever be much of a scoring threat as a sf. His other skills are pretty good. He has 50 total skill points, so for the 50k I invested in the draft, I can't complain.
