Thought all those 3 balls on the last post and the high number of users responding to your game reports would make it obvious that's what we want Zeus

After all, it takes ages for me to find the England NT Schedule page...

England 101-110 Slovenia England 5-2

England drop tough loss to miss out on Qualifying by Points difference

In the final game of the qualifying stage, England had to face Slovenia. The winner would progress to the round robin stage and the loser would be left wondering what could have been. England had been up against it all season and nothing changed here as Slovenia came out crunching. The first quarter gave England fans some hope of a hard fought victory but by HT i'm sure there were some questions. England gave up a season high 38 point quarter in the 2nd, a clinic of offence by Slovenia or lack of defence by England? You decide. The third quarter saw England cut into the lead allowing only 19 points, a much improved effort from the 2nd quarter. England headed into the 4th trailing by only 2 points, 81-79. Unfortunately this time round England could not find the second wind they have so many times this season to take the game. A tough loss for all. England missing out of qualification by a mere 8 points difference. Still a valiant effort from the boys. We were still missing a key player through injury and had to face yet another crunch, so a proud result for sure.

Feeney Lee's Player of the Game: Luke Innes 20 points 8 rebounds 4 assists 10-16 (40 minutes)

This game signals the end of the first official campaign for England. Now its onto scrimmages and a chance for the coach to test out some tactics.

I've no idea if this is true, but since I can't be bothered to check, and I doubt anyone else can be bothered either, I can just assume it is true, you must have set a record for the number of times an NT was crunched in qualifying.

You've done a great job this campaign mate, shame about the outcome but you and the team provided entertainment throughout only to get done over by point differential. Move on to next season bro, lets hope for more of the same!

First Match report of season 32.

England 100-83 Indonesia England 1-0

England start season with a win over normalling Indonesia

In what seemed like deja vu, England started off the campaign at home to Indonesia who chose to normal the game. The difference in enthusiasm showed as Indonesia controlled the majority of the first quarter and lead for over 3/4 of the first. An improved offensive showing in the second quarter would see England take a 10 point lead into HT. England would continue to run away with the game in the third as well, an energetic defensive showing would allow England into garbage time going into the forth. Indonesia would go on to take the forth and cut England's lead to 17. Zeus reportedly not happy with the use of garbage time in NT games following on from last season's PD heartbreak. England struggled offensively in the first game, shooting a dismal 3-21 from 3pt range which is definitely a concern going forward. However winning the rebounding battle whilst missing J-Mac was a positive.

Feeney Lee's Player of the Game: Luke Innes 13 points 11 rebounds 3 assists 6-13 FG (29 minutes) Innes had an impressive showing at the C spot. Holding this man to 3-11 earns him the honours this week.

Next Monday England head off for their first away game of the season at Bulgaria looking to move to 2-0.

On a lighter note congratulations to Will Tanner of Optic Fibres and Jason Fallon of Durham Wasps for making their official NT debuts today.

Because the NT season is much shorter, its ridiculous that garbage time happens in NT games. There's no reason for it since minutes played don't matter.

Still, a good performance, and a good win. Well played.

Of course, on a personal note, last night was the first time a player I've trained has played in an NT game, (excepting scrimmages), so it was a big game for me.
