All true. But players are also cheaper now so it may balance out. Let's see how it goes.

That's true, considering how cheap the players are, one doesn't need to save as much money as before.

Although the issue is that like you suggested the other day, really quality players still cost so much money O.o

i agree with you on that...your team had a salary of about 225k and my team has a salary of 320k which means that i spend 100k more than you which makes it about 1.2 mil per season and which means that in 4 seasons it would be close to 5 mil which means that i will have to tank for more than 5 seasons to collect same amount of money which u tanked in 4 seasons....
so yes tanking is a loooooooong process.

Slightly worse actually because the salary floor is $357k. Would it make sense to drop to Level II with minimal salary and then promote with the $1mil bonus. I don't know if Rocker Boys are still around but if they promote, they're going to have a lot of money.

I think staying in IPBL and tank is a better idea compared to playing in Div II and tank because the arena attendance drops reaaaaally bad.

though u will be getting that 1 mil bonus but look at what you will be loosing-
if you are to relegate then you will have to come either at 6th,7th or 8th which means you will be loosing atleast 30k in each home game which will add up to above 250k in the complete season.
next its really difficult to earn above 200k in div 2 while you can easily earn over 300k in div 1 which adds upto about 1.2 mil in the complete season
apart from that you will loose some more money in terms of less merchandise and some more factors.
so u will be loosing more than 1.5 mil to gain 1 mil.so i dont think that it would be a good choice to relegate to tank

The only way to tank properly is to stay in the IPBL at 6th or 7th position so that you get to earn some more money in PO games as well as more cash in attendance.Considering that you get a U21 player you get more merchandise money(although not much it still counts) and if you train him right you will have one good player less to buy.
I believe that staying in the IPBL is important so that you stay in touch with your rivals and the increase and decrease in their team strengths which will at the end help you decide the strength of your squad.
Rocker boys is still here.Hes in my league and destroying every team around it.No loss this season and definitely going in the IPBL next season.
