Ok guys... been kind of a slow season... but let's get the real show on the road starting now, it's playoff time. Can Hot Sauce and I make good on our regular season success? Let's find out!!!

Well congratulations to you again sir, you had my number this year. Come to think of it, you had all of our numbers, basically!

So at least one more year it looks like these guys can put up with me :-p

Surprised you went with playoff normal this game. What was your thinking behind it? Just curious. I went with normal thinking you would go with CT this game, so I would have the advantage in the 3rd game.

Well, was all about how I could win 2 games. Figured I'd played game 1 so close that with home court advantage I'd have a fair shot to win game 2, especially with improved strategic setup... and the best shot to then win game 3 would be to have better effort to play with.

It's the second time to the finals, second time I've employed that strategy, and second time I've come up empty. Guess that's the trouble with not having home court!

I thought all year you were the better team. I'm not sure I'd have beaten you anywhere along the line, though maybe game 1 went well enough that if I'd CT'd it instead, I'd have been in a reasonable situation, and put the onus on you to win game 2 or risk being beat. Still never moved my PG to play SG defense... figured that'd be my one extra trump card in game 3, but it never came to be.

Also this is the second championship series I've gone into right after losing my second best player... losing Delatorre (my PF, and best inside guy) last week really made me feel like it would take a longshot (and thus the abnormal enthusiasm planning).

Still feel like the team's inside guys are young, and have one more year of training, and the team will only be better next year. Really think I'm favored by a mile to go up (if I don't get an extra berth this year), and I'm not worried about it, another year to continue my plan. You were definitely the better team, nicely done is really all I can say :) :) :)

Interesting strategy. Could have worked, not really a bad idea. The 1st game was a lot closer than the 2nd it seemed and I'm surprised by that since the 1st game I used CT and was at home, while the 2nd game I did Normal and was away, but won by just about the same amount? weird..plus I forgot to set my defensive strategy and left it was man to man...maybe that helped idk haha

Well wish me luck in DIII. Looking at some rosters in my league it seems like I'll have my hands full. Guys with 40k-60k salaries compared to my 10k-20k. I don't even wanna get rid of any of my guys! I feel bad haha like I know them personally! hahaha

I'm not too surprised, I definitely felt very lucky to be in game 1. But didn't go my way. Think I too took too much note of it in my planning. But not sure I had any setup I could've played to beat you. But, likewise, seemed like when I played the proper defense against you, I struggled more. Go figure :-p

Definitely good luck in D III. Looks like statistically it was rated the third easiest D III in the US last year, so I bet you'll compete a fair bit. Make that bank, stick around a bit, then work those players into better replacements if they retire (if any are close). I definitely would want to keep my guys around too (and a smidge of financial support). But still, of course, you gotta do what you gotta do :)

Best of luck :)
