I think it could well be a bit of a death knell for the weaker/new teams in the community if you guys did tho'. That'd be cool.
Then the next time we're bemoaning that there's only [insert number] actual users in Japan, you could look on with pride, and think "Hey, I had a part to play in that!"

/sarcastic rant

It would be funny but surely looking at the current standard of the JBBL you could play real players in one game and compete, then in the other game against teams like Umi Said, 3A, Freeters, Heaven, 4ever etc play your trainee and win anyway. If you have a hard cup match then put your serious player there are risk losing the occasional league game. You still would end around 4th - 5th based on this seasons JBBL.

As for the arena it is always hard to know if it is big enough.

Arena Bleachers : 14240 (Current Price: $14) (Price as of 2/11/2012: $14)
Lower Tier : 1860 (Current Price: $45) (Price as of 2/11/2012: $45)
Courtside Seats : 380 (Current Price: $130) (Price as of 2/11/2012: $130)
Luxury Boxes : 50 (Current Price: $600) (Price as of 2/11/2012: $600)

Total Capacity : 16530
Season Ticket Holders: 2391 (As of the beginning of the season)

Right now I am sure everyone is holding onto their money looking at what stars they can add for the playoffs. I know I am even though I had to rent a player due to injuries. But as soon as the trade deadline is over if I have any cash I will spend it on arena.

Took me like 4 seasons (about the same timing as my arena completed) to finally draft good ballers...alas I sold one of them!!! Honda!!!!

Make that 2. Remember Takayoshi Kawagichi (21305663) future U21 and NT player? You will soon!

More frickin' evil-ness of II.1.
We lost 楽しい recently, and now the #4 team in the Great 8 - Terry Bogard - and the #5 team (MadRipper, who also happens to be the most promising "new guy" we've had in Div II.1 for a while) have been MIA for coming up on 3 weeks. Big 8's が失われることはありません is in the same boat (3rd in the B8).

The problem is that it's simply too damn competitive when compared to the other Div IIs. Teams that are inferior to 楽しい and TB get promoted, whilst there's a 5+ season waiting line for them. Frustrating... and generally I've only looked at it from the perspective of those near the top of the Div, but it must be awful for those who are sticking with the game - but even lower in the pecking order.
So not only are we finding it difficult to keep new players, we're losing the older, established ones too.

The G8 of II.1 has 5 truly active teams at the moment, the B8 4. This is the least active II.1's been since I joined BB.

Spoke to an ex-BB about this, but apparently "I'm only doing this because of selfishness on my own part" (to do with me not promoting). How very, very benevolent of the person in question.

That is pathetic....

I would hope that his attitude is the reason he is an 'ex-BB'... although many BB's are not that vocal in the forums, I think they would agree that the point you have spent time & energy explaining does have merit to be looked at.

It may not be super high up the priority list but I can't see how acknowledging a better solution could be thought up would show weakness from the dev. team.

Ignore the comments you received & trust that the right people will come across this thread sooner or later.
