we thought it was fairly tough mvps against us in our game vs slam

with 16 seconds to go it was a 2 point game and could have easily gone either way

we battled that 350k monster fairly well all night considering

in the end we missed the 3s and they hit the fts, such is life

but we only get 1 point from 6, seems harsh

xie and rad while playing in a 2-3 zone still kept slams sg and pg to a combined 5-22

silvian our c managed to hit 6-13 and pull 12 boards and a 13.5 rating while that monster tried to stop him

ludo not only scored 25 but he got to the line a lot drawing a ton of fouls on slam he also got 5 rebounds and 2 assists and steals

for sure zoump and macko played great, no argument there, but 2 point game with 16 seconds to go and we got points like in a blowout

but we dont think we would win the appeal so we will just let it ride

besides that great job iwen, we really like reading the write ups you, yoda and zyler do, brings the games to life

ok so i want the MVP voting to be consistent so i am going to lodge an MVP challenge for Bainsynator Plebs vs Hobos

i will post details later cause i have to go to work and am flat knacker today. may have time after work we will see... stay poised gentleman

Also I'd like to make an appeal for the 2 points. While Hemasita Tripathi did play rather well, his defense was horrible. He conceded 42 points (22 being scored by my scrub 4k PF) and only prevented 11 out of 32 baskets. I believe Ng Ting Yu should receive the 2 MVP votes as he clearly played better in his 27 minutes, with +7 rebounds and only -5 points as opposed to Tripathi who played 45 minutes.

Bainsynators Plebs 65 - 101 Hobos

snzajder had 8-19, 18 pts, 3 rebs, 4 asts, 3 turnovers - 1 vote

ok so Leone had 8-13, 17 pts, 4 rebs, only 1 turnover, 3 steals and 3 blocks - no vote

even though Snzajder is my player i recokon that he did noweher near more that Leone to get a vote in what was a blowout match. therefore i request Leone get the 1 vote. if you are not satisfied with just looking at these stats Leone also kept his opponent to 5-15 in 48 mins

i am appealing this because if it was it was the other way round i would expect the votes to be all 3 to me not 2-1

C-Cat, do your thing

either way i win. i win appeal or snzajder gets the votes

Frankly, I'm not to fussed either way.

I'm loathe to give out all three votes unless it is a clear blowout. Despite Hobo's breaking the game open in the last, I don't think him having all three vote winners is justified.

Based on value to their team, I don't think it is all that close - Sznajder was the only Pleb to shoot above 33%. Its difficult to say what impact he had on D, due to the 2-3 zone, but the Hobo's guards didn't really get away from him.

Leone had a good game, but that is tempered by the fact that it was against an 18yo. His opponent was actually the second most efficient scorer for the Plebs, so I don't think his D was all that crash hot, in comparison to his teammates.

I guess the question I have to ask is, take the respective players away from their team, and what happens to the result.
Take away Leone, and I think Hobo's still win by a pretty comfortable margin.
Take away Sznajder, and I think it could've got really ugly

That's my rationale anyway.

First off, the fact you are appealing that your player shouldn't get votes I'm going to take into account an insanity plea!


There's not a whole lot for me to say here other then a decision, both the for and against points have been made by the appealer and the original voter so I'm not gonna run through it all again and I'll keep it breif.

I'm gonna allow this appeal...

To me it seems a bit of a token vote for Snzajder to get a plebs player in there, they were out classed the whole game and while Snzajder did lead the plebs scoring it wasn't exactly a standout effort it was more a case of the best of the rest...
Leone was much more efficient and I'd say he was a large part in the Hobo's win with his hustle, 3 steals and 3 blocks is impressive. Having said all that we have to consider how attractive llamas mum is, which makes me wanna lean towards him but i guess i should do the right thing...

So go nuts, I have no issue with it being swapped so Leone gets the 1...
