Shouldn't merchandise $$$ be correlated with # of all stars
Kobe sells in his prime regardless of lakers record
I am sitting here with 3 all stars and leading scores
With below min merchandise money

It seems to be more correlated with how long you've had your players, and if they're domestic, and what their salary is, and how many minutes they've played. I know I've always had well above average merchandise but my roster is entirely American and seven of my ten man primary roster have been on the team nine or more seasons (with a couple of them being draftees).

My personal opinion is that the BB philosophy was set up to encourage more balance as opposed to the monoskill monsters that were the rage in Hattrick at the time (as Charles was quite active there before starting this up). Not only in the engine itself, but maybe merchandising as well - your stars will always sell a certain number of jerseys but the mid-tier and lower players might sell a nice amount too if your fans know and love them. Of course, my fans know and hate some of my players, like Menard, who looks like someone left a dead ferret atop a blanched turd, but I suppose they like to burn his jerseys and I, for one, won't turn down a sale for that!

Thank You.

Looks like the Clogs have the sweet matchup for the final 8!

I'm pretty sure I'm done at this point. My player game shape has taken a beating trying to win all 3 games the last two weeks.

You can say that again. I had forgotten that I'd already played them in the private league, too, so that helps. Any team that gets to this point in the Cup deserves to be taken seriously, of course, but I'm certainly glad not to be on the road against an NBBA team.

Nice game, Coach Dean.

I thought I was toast when Spencer got hurt 3 minutes in, but then my guys managed to play super aggressive and get to the line enough in the 1st to put up a nice lead. The second and third quarters were a different story, and your Center (I labeled him Mr Mean, of Houston Rocket fame) was devouring all the rebounds. I think at one point he had 16 and my Center had 2. TWO. Brutal.

But then Mr Mean fouled out, and your PG got hurt, and I thought I had a chance again, but your reserves played with much savvy and poise, unfortunately for me and my Sungrazers, and we came up short.

Arg...

The situation in Great 8 is even more intense. I'm still debating if I should break my bank to go for a postseason spot
