So am i right in saying it's the highest placed team overall that doesn't win a GF series that goes up?

Correct. Everyone that ins their finals obviously goes up. But one loser will also go up. Tie breakers are won conference, (maybe least forefits), Wins, PD, etc. Usually need to go 22-0 to get it.

Thanks Matty, I appreciate the centiment, however I would really like to go up to div II with a win, I got to Div III with auto promotion several seasons ago losing to Lazio@ who I am sure most people know... I would probably think the hippos have the harder run, seems Vis is just hanging around biding his time for now, I would suggest he could be a prime candidate.

Movers:
There was one clear mover this week with the Melbourne Demons winning by over 100 points and jumping up to 4th. (unlike thier RL namesake). The other mover was the Coin Collectors who are in the same division as the Demons, they jumped from 10th to 8th with a handy win. Unfortunately we will lose one of these teams in the next round with the two 14-0 teams in III.8 fighting it out.

Sliders:
None really to speak of as everyone dropping positions were victims of the Demons big win.


In the next update i might include the teams with 1 loss, as we will be down to at most 10 undefeated teams

Great work Bainsy but did you notice the lucky duck of the round? Urmummas in what should have been an easy game against the 6th team in the Great 8 needed OT to eventually scrape through with a 2 point win. The good luck was that they won, the bad luck was that their $ 114 360 SG is out injured for a week and so sold for only $350,000.

How do division III teams afford rosters like this?

although i dont think the loss would have mattered as i am highly sure they will win their division

That team is better then my team and I'm in the ABBL!

I'll give anything to have both Smelts and Cunming as my starting front court. Smelts had a minor stint in the NT and Cunming is still in the NT.
