1) Elram Varsano (20140887)
Really disappointing. Yes he is 18 and great height but he has low potential and looks like someone that was just drafted with one pop in passing. Only two primaries respectable at this stage is really bad. Horrible secondaries Grade D.
2) Baltrus Gaidulevicius (18108941)
Very similar to Elram and a year older. The potential is much better but he is nearly 20 and most would be upset with their 18 year old looking like that at this stage. Grade E.
3) John Norman (18868461)
Your original player I assume, so you must continue to train him and the good news is he is probably the best of these three, but only just. The defence is fantastic but everything else looks a long way behind. Grade C.
You purchased your trainees for $520,000 and $221,000... I don't have that kind of money to spend on trainees considering my team is all of 8 weeks old. Comparing the trainees of a div 2 team that has been around for 5 seasons with a div 4 team that has been around 5 minutes is a bit ridiculous.
Elkram may have lower potential - but he can still reach a salary for around $35k, which is all I really need to start with. He's not going to be in my team forever, but I need to start somewhere, without spending a fortune on a player with perfect potential, perfect height and every secondary skill known to man.
Baltrus will train quickly. I'd much rather start a couple of levels behind and build from there, rather than spend much more money for a few extra levels of skill.
I started with John and he's coming along nicely. I trained outside def first, so obviously everything else is way behind. He won't take long to catch up though, I'm a patient person and am trying to build my players slowly.
Obviously having trainees with great potential and fantastic secondaries would be good, but I'm not prepared to spend all my money on them this early in my buzzer career. I'm in no hurry here... I don't need to have the best players, I'm happy to wait, spend my money wisely and train slowly.
