I try not to let my chickens get ahead of me...we still have a few games to play and anything can happen in the playoffs...I do appreciate the note though....

It's be nice if I could, you know, win at least one of these last second/overtime games. This is getting a bit ridiculous.

I actually thought you would win in OT after hitting those last-second FT. Man it was so close.

Good Luck to all the Playoff teams. I know Eagles will beat me by 100 tonight, but the rest of the series should be good.

No upsets in the first round of playoffs or releagtion, so nothing surprising there, but there are some things that had me surprised/confused during the season.

1. Why Black Mambas never loaded up for the relegation series? Perhaps this is not something that people even thought Mambas was going to do, but as I saw myself as one of the most likely candidates for the #6 spot in the Great 8, that was one of my biggest fears of the season. Perhaps he didn't, because He saw Quakers loaded roster sitting in the #6 spot. So I guess the answer to this one is He was legitimately tanking

Which brings me to number 2.

2. Why the Pennsylvania Quakers carried a 500k+ roster all season, but continued to throw away games? This one had me quite puzzled, and still does, as the Quakers probably could have arguably been in at least second place. They began to throw games away, and I believed it was a desire to go far in the Cup and he wasn't going to risk losing it against the possible dreaded D.V/DIV CT. When he he was out of the Cup he didn't "give" any games away, but didn't necessarily seem to be operating the team at its fullest capacity. Perhaps that had something to do with his plan, I'm not sure. Either way, still a little confused as this could not have been a profitable financial year for the Quakers.

3. Why the Fosse Designs tanked their last game against the Black Mambas to move themselves from #5 to #6?
They basically had safety all wrapped up and needed to lock it in, but obviously gave it away, leaving me confused as to what they plan was. Were they that confident they could beat the Fern Creek Clerics and think it was more profitable economy wise to play in a relegation series (especially if he could put it away in 2 games), or perhaps he wanted a higher position in the draft and was willing to risk demoting in order to get the 5th pick instead of the 6th. Now that he has one game on the Clerics his strategy looks a little less risky, but facing the Clerics in a do-or-die situation would be my first choice.

Interesting side Note: Both of these teams have put my Cup run to and end in recent seasons. Fosse Design in Season 22 (55473756) and the Clerics in Season 21 (52189135). May the best Dreamcrusher win.

Not one of those who likes to go out early in the cup, and doing well in the league wasn't my goal this year. Have been more interested in adding some skills to some players that aren't necessarily easy to add when you are trying to advance up....

All pretty good observations. Mambas dances to his own beat.

I am really ready for some meaningful games. Tanking is interesting to about the all star break. The joy of cash fades and elimination from the cup just sucks the life out of the season. Long season.
