Parang sa match up mas ok kalaban ang HK - We have not figured out a way to beat China. Halos pareho lang ang lakas nila. Ill try something different for next game.

thx coach, these are still no bearing games for us, our enthusiasm is more important than upsetting China so id rather lose now than in the next rd when it really matters. Its more of a psychological win for us. We are competing at a very high level. Lets hope to do a little better in the next rd. We wrap up the first round with India who most probably will crunch us because they have nothing to lose.

Mga peeps, qualified na tayo sa next round even before we played HK. Malaki ang pondo ng PD. Back to 0 tayo lahat sa nxt round. India is our last game in the eliminations. I am expecting they will crunch us para mahabol nila ang Macau. Mas gusto ko pang matalo tayo sa India kasi pag pumasok sila siguradong ubos na enthusiasm nila.

In the spirit of sportsmanship we will still try to win. So it will probably be Macau, China and HK who will advance plus tayo. Ang target natin sa next round is to be bracketed with lighter teams like Kazakhstan, Singapore, Malaysia and Macau. If we draw 2 of these four teams we have a strong chance to go into the medal rounds. One of our bigs (Vescatcho) is out of the tournament with a 5 week injury. So the young guys need to step up and fill up the void. So far, it is delatorre (lolo's player) who has been performing well for us. Macahilo and Libre need to step up GS wise. Request ko lang para may pag asa naman tayo umabot sa medal rounds and qualify for the worlds.

First game of the second round, Australia was able to take the win. Mahirap sila kalaban thats why I used GDP. We got half of that right. Our bigs really played well in the absence of Vescatcho. This is a reminder to us on how important OD is for SF's and BIG MEN. They also have HCA which accounts for the PD as well. When they play outside and they shoot slightly under 50%, dehado tayo sa laban.

Our schedule becomes lighter with Kazakhstan then powerhouse Taiwan. Taiwan is rated highly in the tournament pero tingin ko China and Australia are still the teams to beat.

Kazakhstan ang susunod guys, this should be a W for us. This a 5 man deep NT team, other than that they lack quality reserves. We have better depth at each position. Na upset nila Singapore and they almost beat Japan, so we will see kung gaano katindi yung first string nila.

We still have GS issues sa malalaki natin. We cant afford to lose to this team. 2 losses is the max and we already have one courtesy of Australia. Lets hope we beat them comfortably so we can bounce back from our loss to Australia. Taiwan is also critical game for us.
