Nice summary. I am in div 2.4 with Slam and Karmar and was quite surprised to see them lose to such bad teams!

Yar I was quite surprise to see me lose too. Especially when you look at the ratings. My bigs seem to lose the ball every time they touched it in that game. But I lost, so I guess the better team on the night won.

Yeah based on the ratings of your game I would have expected you to win. You dominated him in the ratings, he fouled more and gave you more free throw attempts, and you massively out rebounded him. I guess he got a lot of 3 pointers that helped him, and he put more effort in to the game, but still an unlucky loss for you.

After the second round of the cup another 16 teams from the top 4 leagues were kicked out of the cup

Whitebeard (16) lost to AzzAZ SwiNaDaDz (202) - this was possibly the worst loss so far, White beard were clean shaven after this loss

II.1
Down Under Thunder (20) lost to simpson blood (316) - this loss gave whitebeard a run for their money in the worst loss race
Kynlala Knights (77) lost to Aussie Pride (48) - this was a grudge match with aussie pride being kicked out of II.1 last season, I think they proved a point

II.2
Monkey Business (17) lost to Zazzocalypse (28) - one of those nasty matchups early on in the cup
Docs Patients (58) lost to Upwey Flames (107) - I think the patients are all in the burns unit
Melbourne Ravens (79) lost to Shootin Stars (294) - the team bus for the Ravens got lost and didn't make it to the court at all
Tassie Gunners (80) lost to WA is a Dump (3) - not just a nasty matchup for the gunners, an avoid at all costs one
South Victoria Mestrals (35) lost to Western Titans (44) - nasty match up between 2 Div II teams

II.3
Crush Lakers (52) lost to The Miners (177) - when you lose by 2 points it always hurts more
Beechy (13) lost to Chumunga (54) - another Div II match-up that Chumunga wanted to win more

II.4
Viral Infection (101) lost to Red Furys (406) - the start of the virus that decimated Div II.4 this round
West Island Tigers (99) lost to Haggards (34) - like the Tasmanian Tiger, shot into extinction this season in the cup
Footsteps (45) lost to Sand Dune Scorpians (88) - never try to step on a scorpian in bare feet
Anaheim Ducks (81) lost to Bill Hoyles Boys (12) - like the mighty ducks punching above their weight, but no hollywood ending
The Mailmen (86) lost to Glenelg Tigers (55) - who siad the mailmen deliver rain hail or shine?
Screaming Eagles (56) lost to Lazio@ (137) - screaming as they were plummiting to the earth after having their wings clipped

If you feel you deserve a mention, don't wait for someone else to post it, yell how unfair the cup draw is at the top of your lunges.

I'm spewing I lost to a div 4 team lol, but that's what happens when you fill 3 of the positions with 1k scrubs and play TIE hahaha.

try that in the first round and against a team that you thought were bot and set the lineup for and then bot got ownership...

ouch...

No biggie, too worried about staying in ABBL than winning cup games anyways. Upsets happen when you get CTed. =/

Well I picked up an injury in the league game before the cup game and as a result the intended cup starter played 40+ minutes in the league game.

Opted to save my GS and was forced to turn to a different tactic due to the injury and not to mention got CTed...lol

one of the dangers the higher div teams face when playing lower div teams, is that they generally have nothing to lose, so expect a CT against you.

Good to see the reasons coming out.
