Yeah...I actually scouted you...by looking at your Saturday game and seeing Tsunami getting 48 at C, I knew you were going to start Krecji at C. For me too, it is pretty easy to scout me...Where ever asano plays is the training position(he too got 48 at C on Saturday). But what sucks for me is that Kozanecki only got 47 minutes....and Motoori need the whole game on Thursday...full training is getting super hard for three trainees.
BTW...I thought that was the game of the season so far..

No...Baikinman was lucky I had other things to do...he started a PF at SF and I started a bum at SF. If I would have been able to log in in time..I would have won by 20...a different SF and a CT and I would not have a scrimmage tomorrow...

I am more worried about Kyoto Shogun....3 days is a long time for him to be absent.

Lol don't worry about me. Just been busy. Sharman RIP. Best player in Nippon ever. Best player in the world as well many seasons ago. Huge loss. Hope he does start up again in China or USA and it will be good to see if he can rise faster than BC Tooroo.

I'm a bit surprised by the result against Small Town Operators. His arena, he put in more effort, I had a 19 year old trainee playing 48+ at PG, a $10,000 scrub playing at SG, Sonoda on the bench, Kouzuki on the bench and still was just down 8 after 3 quarters. I was expecting a 50 point smacking.

A moment's silence for Sharman.

Ok moment of silence over for the under hand dealing day trading king of bb.

only at the end did he develop some sort of conscience.

i think he left the game because the way he was winning wasnt fun to him anymore.

When you scheme, make skillfull economic purchases, and use that to be a player, its one thing.

When you are renting 300K + players mins before a game then dumping them, i can imagine there is a thrill in it the first few times, but after a while it has to get boring...and quite frustrating for people running responsible rosters and training talent over rently farmed players.

Sharman won because of how he played the transfer market. Even he had to get tired of buy big, buy guard, buy passer, Look inside.

So it is what it is. Sharman is the reason Puka Puka, Maruyama, Small Town, Five Arrows, and many other teams that couldnt get a share of the pot quit.

there was a time when Sharman had 4\5 teams right on his level...and he out did them with timely rentals on the transfer market. and it turned many people in Japan off of the game. at the end, i think even he realized how his selfishness hurt bb japan. His using the transfer market as a cash machine made it so other teams couldnt compete.

So we can talk about Sharman as great, but greedy is more like it. His monopolizing of the cup and the jbbl title strangled bb japan. So not to say good riddance, but at least with the league now, its a decision of if we want to pay the money to rent the players to beat wolph.

This games is not meant to be run with 1.2+ million dollar weekly rosters. Yet no salary cap, so luxury tax, only recently a penalty for selling players quickly after buying.

Im not saying i hated the guy or anything...but there was a considerable community of people that took issue with how Sharman rose to power. The Japanese NT team has been dogmeat....for ages. he never took interest in properly training a Japanese player. He never took intrested in finishing off a player with potential by training them properly. He jacked up Furuzawa...and jacked up Soichi Hara.

He never shared the titles to allow another Japanese team to become a power. He is pretty much the reason why the bb japan has not gotten any stronger.

imagine if he would have allow just 1 other team to win the cup/jbbl each season starting from season 5 to season 14 or so. from season 7 Swoosh, Stunners, and YC have seen the JBBL turn ALL THE WAY OVER...more than once.

a couple of bones would have change the culture of bb japan.

so hey, he got all he could get...but by doing it the way he did, we lost a lot of good managers that played the game "the right way".

and in the end, BB Japan lost...and is still losing.

I would love it if they put in a salary cap. that would make the game so much more competitive. Once you've grown to a certain level then all teams are on equal ground.

Unfortunately, the game is not set up that way. So, depending on what your goals are you have to choose your strategy to get to what you define as success.

You are correct Swoosh. That is why Sharman will never be mentioned in the same breath as BC Toroos. Toroos would let fellow country man win the cup after he won his 1st BB title(because he got a lifetime entry)...Toroos thought it would be cool to see another Canadain in the BB3. After Sharman won the BB3 he won how many doubles even know he had a free pass into the BB3? 5 or 6.
The funniest was when he made his brother quit...now that is bad
