Naker is right, you can alleal infinite times as long as you are corect each time. As soon as you are wrong that is it until next season. This is because the appeals proces is supposed to fix up clear mistakes not split hairs on line ball decisions. All the prople that write up the games each week put a lot of their time and effort in. If they make a clear mistake they wont mind it being pointed out but being criticised over trivial things that are clearly just opinion makes it a lot less fun.

So if there is a clear mistake appeal away and I am sure C-Cat (and the writer will support you) but when people want to argue the decision on a photo finish they are risking their right to appeal. It works very well this way in the NFL and I wish they had something similar in the NBA, it would improve a lot of calls.

I agree with it stopping people appealing every week, but even the NFL gives you 2 goes ;) Not a big deal, just thought it was a bit strict that was all.

Ok well not much point going into much detail for this one, its a pretty unanimous decision and i agree with everyone else. No point doing a write up for it lets just go with llama's predictions

3 - Zuras
2 - Svornix
1 - Howarth

Decided on Svornix for 2 purely based on the fact he was Zazz's only player, he had 24 of his 30 by 3/4 time so it wasnt as if he took advantage of the scrubs on in the last to pad his stats. So lets go with the above and the half of the league who appealed it can all have another shot later in the season!

I agree with these votes.

However, I must admit concern at the prospect of people strategically appealing the MVP votes of games they're not involved in... :/

I'm even better, I managed to spell it two different ways. Both wrong.

Dear Mr Cat

I'd like to appeal the following game:(36141547)

The original votes were as follows:

3 - S. Rosales (GV) - Highest rating 12. 22 points 16 rebounds in 28 minutes
2 - F. Cartier (GV) - Game high 29 points. 11 rebounds 3 steals
1 - B. Siffredi (QK) - Led his team in scoring with 19 points 4 assists 5 rebounds

I contend that:

M. Gkonias (Geelong Vipers) had a much better game than B. Siffredi (Quinn Kings) and should be awarded 1 vote.

M. Gkonias had 16 points (6/9 shooting), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 blocks and 2 steals in only 25 minutes.

B. Siffredi had 19 points (8/27 shooting), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 42 minutes.

Considering that Siffredi took 27 shots to score his 19 points, played 42 minutes (compared to 25 minutes) and had less rebounds, steals and blocks, I think Gkonias had a far better overall game and was much more valuable in the game. It's also worth pointing out that Siffredi's teams lost by 30 points, and while he may have been his teams best player, Gkonias' input was much more valuable to his team's performance.

Sorry for the delay mate, pretty busy weekend!

So looking at the game and not just the box score i was kinda a little dissapointed in Gkonias, 16 points, 6/9 shooting 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 blocks and 2 steals in 25 minutes is impressive, but most of that was in the last quarter which takes away from it as the game was already over. Having said that Quinn Kings still had their starters on so he was still against the best opposition possible in that last and took it to them. And realistically i think it should be pretty hard for a guy in a team that got smashed by 30 points to get a vote, and when Siffredi shot 8/27 he was hardly a stand out so I'm gonna agree with you on this one Mr Matt

So lets go with

3 - S. Rosales (GV)
2 - F. Cartier (GV)
1 - M.Gkonias (GV)
