Cool, thanks for the helps guys...I'm thinking about using TIE next game...playing on homecourt...which I believe gives your team a small boost right?

But in this game you're playing CT, you'll play at about level 15 (10+5).

I've never heard this. What I have heard (and seems to be right) is that the higher your enthusiasm is, the better you play on defense and rebounding. It doesn't affect your offense at all.

Your offense is a little worse when you TIE and a good amount better when you CT, but how you play for that game (TIE/Normal/CT) doesnt affect your defense or rebounding.

And like others have said, TIE adds 33% to your enth, CT cuts it in half.

You're missing the point. Read again. I was talking about how CT affects play immediately and ent for the next game.

Exactly. It doesn't affect rebounding and defense FOR THAT GAME. But it lowers ent and therefore rebounding and def FOR THE NEXT GAME. Capisce? :)

Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.

Obviously I understood, it just seems that you completely fabricated the number 15 for what level you'd "play" at by CTing with 10 enthusiasm. That's not the correct way of putting it because enth levels don't affect offense and CTing doesnt affect defense.

Exactly. As I said, that's my estimation. Nobody knows for sure.

I can put it anyway I like because that's my estimation. It seems like you want to change my own estimation. LOL The other part of the sentence is correct.

I totally agree with this and have this to add:

Don't plan one game ahead. Plan the whole season. Take a few minutes at the beginning of new season and think about your plans for this (and maybe even next) season. Do you want to:

- promote?
- come in fifth and try to win as much cup games as possible?
- come in 7th so you get a good draft pick?

If you answer those questions, it will be pretty easy to determine for each game if you want to win or lose, thus you know if you want to TIE, play normal or CT.

Good point. I scout the opponents at the beginning of the season and I plan effort levels usually for 3 next games.
