I will take passing/driving well over of those. Actually i cant see why a SG needs IS/ID.

While I would probably never train blocking on a guard, it's definitely not a totally useless skill.

My PG had 4 blocks the other night against a team I didn't think I could beat. I won by 7.

and crazy while you may agree with shaq more, him saying skills are not needed is still completely wrong and so is that a small gaurd only trains a little quicker.

if you read his post he says it, and if you have to pay such diffferent sum to buy him, you would be further if you invest in a bigger better trainees, this size differen from 0"3 isn't that big on training.

in man to man def gaurds dont stay near the 3 pt line so inside def IS needed.

i won't be too sure about it, my centers when tthey play for training porposes against guards, who ussually have no inside d don't hit the balls near the baskets - so i don't like IS and ID much on guards.

read the manual then... theres too many tactics to explain. some SGs might need ID if they are playing a look inside tactic. or Some guards can play D as Forwards or Center can give flexiblity to a team when they are play a 2-3 defense and vice-versa with Big men who have good outside D

it does make a difference a pop or 2 a season difference over 4 seasons training that can easily be a 500k-1 mil difference in sale price.

as for inside def it is needed on man to man if the opposing gaurd has high inside shot, as they most likely dont you have not really seen the true effect of this.

just to make this clear im new to this game but i have a game strategy book that was left here by a previous tenant and ive read alot of forum posts since i joint.
in most cases id agree with you crazy, but in this case i believe id and sb are better big skills for gaurds then is and rb.

Well if i need an ID, then i will buy a big man or SF that have it. Not wasting my time on those 2ndaries, and manual tells u a lot but not everything. Experience gives u the small secrets that u will not read there.

so iof you pay the double price for a trainee which is worth one million, you are to szero after 4 seasons :) If you put the mio and buy four additional skills from beginning, you have more "power" from the beginning and all over the four season and get the same price or the price one million higher when i make your 1 Skill 500k politics.

as for inside def it is needed on man to man if the opposing gaurd has high inside shot, as they most likely dont you have not really seen the true effect of this.

I had have guars with IS 1 and 7 at the beginning, pretty similiar top skills, the guard without inside shot score the same till more(1 JS train more) in inside tactis and normally in BB the step from 1 to two is the biggest, and the difference betwenn one and seven is big.

Well the SB is considered the least useful skill on the game, and most of big men trainers doesnt train it at all. Why a SG need SB i just cant get it. Seriously. Again i like the rebounding for every position. Everybody can help there
