Haha, no, the significant difference is that I really don't have nearly as much transfer history and what I do isn't exactly profitable.

this is the only team i got

i kind of take a warren buffet strategy of playing this game

always buy increasing assets not decreasing assets (younger players not old)

even though, i might have to buy a few of them if i get them at the right price

always look to buy when people are selling and sell when people are buying
(knowing when your in a buyer's market or a seller's market)

i have never understood why people pay a ton of money for player than a month later sell him at a huge loss - that always boggles my mind

this league is alot harder than div 3 by a long shot - so i would not be surprised if i got demoted back to div 3 - but i should have a ton of money on hand if that happens

Quite impressive. I could learn a bit from your style.
I tend to pick up players at bargain prices, but I'm not too savvy about selling them at the right time.

seems like the San Francisco Warriors are the better team at selling players.

Look out! I just sold one of my rookies for a whole two grand.
I can almost build one more courtside seat (after tax, I'm not quite there, dang it) with this windfall.

What if you attempted to build that single seat... only to have the estimated completion time stuck at 5 days+ for an entire season? How would you feel then?

this is just my own opinion

i think for $10,000 to $40,000 salary players the market works like this.

seller's market begins at the 2nd or 3rd week of the season and ends at 2nd to the 4th week after the all star break. - give or take a week. - i think that is the best time to sell players.

it begins at the 2nd or 3rd week because i think more people are looking for 18 year rookies than veterans.

after that we go into a buyer's market. - where you can pick up players or staff at good prices.

it's at its peak after the trade dead line. which makes sense because alot of people know where they are going to finish in there league and want to dump players and staff to increase profits.

i think high salary players have a smaller market and it works different

that's my 2 cents - so take it for what's it is worth.
