I actually used to do a write up every year for my leagues and would predict the MVP for the season. There was a stretch of three seasons that I predicted correctly. One of the major predictors is your player ratings. After that, its not necessarily any one stat, but more of a combination of stats. Those guys that tend to be good in several areas, combined with high game ratings, are usually the ones chosen for the MVP.

My player (22376110) won MVP title by getting all but one votes for the first place. He wasn't in any of those three top-10 categories. In my opinion, player average rating is one of the most important things in MVP race.
