Well I enjoy looking to the future so the first round pick, and the two (according to the article) second round picks excite me quite a bit. As for the players we get, sure, they're old, and probably nearing over the hill of not already. But they can provide experience and guidance for the current raps seeing as most of the raps are young and unexperienced (like Jonas Valanciunas). I think the Raps got quite the better end of the deal here. By the time 2016 comes around, hopefully our young squad is now priming and experienced, and they can then mentor the two first rounders raps will have in 2016

If that is indeed the deal, that is indeed the high end of what I would expect to get for him.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

That's a great trade for Bargs. I initially heard that the Clippers were offering Caron Butler's expiring contract and I thought that was as good as it could get.

I like the trade, even if it just boils down to Novak and a few late picks. If Bargs was kept, Novak is 5x the role player (in their current roles) Bargs is. I hope he succeeds in NYC, I always believed in the potential of Bargnani cause he has a TONNE. But his motor and willingness to live up to his potential was never there, and hopefully he regains some confidence on the Knicks.

RA Blaze mentioned this rumor in the Canadian chat during the games tonight, but it's officially being reported now that the Raptors have a multi-year deal with Tyler Hansborough. It's expected to be formally announced tomorrow.

A lot of people don't like the move, but provided we're not paying him too much I do. He's physical and he makes other players think twice about going to the paint because he's not afraid to dish out fouls. He can rebound, he's decent defensively... He'll help give the front court a variety of playing styles for Casey to play around with.

Basically, the GM and coach are communicating now, and Casey is getting the pieces he wants to build his machine :D

Updated first post with Toronto Raptors Las Vegas Summer League Roster. Kicks off in a few days.

I'm looking forward to see Valanciunas and T-Ross light it up.

So the Bargnani trade is official, and it looks like on top of the three picks, Novak, and Camby... we also got Quentin Richardson.

Well played, Ujiri, well played.

Nothing too big. I've heard talk that the Raptors are going after Nate Robinson along with the Knicks, and Nuggets. The issue is that he wants more than the veterans minimum and since we used our exception on Hansborough we can't offer that.

From what I read, the Knicks cant offer him more either, and he turned them down immediately. He's still talking to us and the Nuggets, but who knows whats going to happen. I'm not a huge fan of him, but as a Lowry backup he's better than what we've got.
