I'd just like to say for the record: "It's an honor representing DII.4 in the Sweet Sixteen.
We've got just two less teams in the tourney than the NBBA does at this point.
Well done, Clogs and Lethargy.

Same to you. I've been pretty lucky to draw home court for the last few games, which has been pretty important. Of course, really, my Cup runs now are essentially waiting for Eugene to knock me out and hoping that it's as late as possible.

The Registry Guard fittingly has drawn the weakest remaining team, from a ranking standpoint.

I've got a tough matchup.

These games are neutral site with playoff enthusiasm rules, by the way.

I have another week where there's nobody on the schedule that I know I can beat without a doubt with my backups, and nobody that I think I'm a strong underdog to if I have my starters. I've still got a three game cushion for HCA, but I'm not sure how much of that I'm going to need with four road games (two against playoff teams) coming up. If I win this Cup round I'm tied for my longest Cup run, and of course the 80k I think would be nice, but then it's probably at least a 50% chance of drawing an NBBA team next. I suppose this is why I get paid the big imaginary bucks.

Holy smokes. I didn't know there were playoff enthusiasm rules at this point in the cup.
This is one round farther than I've ever been. Thanks for pointing that out. That is both good and bad.
It reduces my chances of pulling off an upset, as the overall possible effort gap is reduced.

3 games seems like a hearty cushion for the Clogs at this point.
I mean, it's not like you're playing your season finale against a jerk who may be needing to CT you in order to make the playoffs just so he can then lose to you by 50 in said playoffs.

I've looked at my schedule again. I'm not convinced a three game cushion with three games to go is entirely safe.

My goodness.
Zero points in the first six minutes of the 2nd quarter.
My guys must be thinking about their March Madness bracket, or something... Lordy...

Well...
I've seen a lot of games... never one quite like that.
Best player going 0-17.
Center, outmatching the other team's backup Center with over 10 times the salary and 20 times the DMI, getting shut down by him in the waning minutes on five shots in a row.
Strange choice for the player chosen to shoot the game tying three - 3x in a row (as the ball actually bounced my way when he missed the first two).

I'd understand maybe if I my offense was called out with GDP, or if perhaps there was a massive enthusiasm discrepancy for my team, but quite the opposite, actually, kind of drastically.

Sure, my opponent had home court, and played Look Inside, but those two things don't usually tip the scales that far.

End of the day, it's a good game by the Leopards.

That is odd. I suppose I should just assume that if I expect an outside zone and GDP prediction, and run LI, I should assume that anyone I want to play at SF will foul out or get injured.

Yikes. Good to see Primo isn't sidelined for any more games with his injury.

Definitely. It would have been nice if he made it through and maybe that could have been the difference tonight, but now that SFW and Milwaukee have picked up their fifth losses, I feel a lot better about finally deciding to try to save starters for the Cup. The injury did throw off my planned lineup just a bit, but if it doesn't come together perfectly in the Cup I can train GS for a week.
