Nope I never played Gridiron outside Victoria. My position was tight end. Sounds a little gay I know.

The pads don't make things hurt less, they make them hurt more, but less gets broken.

Ding! Same team. When? I only played one season and it was probably around '98.

Oh and do you mean the Dallas Cowboys or the Dallas/Chicago Bears seeing as we signed 3 of your players this week!

After last seasons efforts, we needed to get rid of some junk :p

Starting with Tony Romo... ;)

You mean the player with one of the best passer ratings in history...

I guess you are still spewing about Rocca moving to the Redskins ;)

4th best in history actually, if the stats I read are correct. Not disputing he's a great QB, shame he chokes every time the play-offs roll around... :p

glad we stayed on topic lol.

my two cents

world cup soccer is fun to watch anything is boring as shit , unless my gf is playing.

afl is terrible just plain terrible - ill admit it does take a hell of alot more skill then rugby though.

rugby - ill never understand how this is more popular then league - its boring , the attacking play is uncreative and boring.

league - great bloody game - ruined by the dumb arses in charge , the insanely inconsistent reffing (i swear there biased at times) , the constant changes in rules each season , a poor league set up/ contract / draft system (something the afl does get right)

basketball - love it - enough said.

nfl - another great game , kind of shts me that theres so many stoppages and that they basically have two teams a defensive and offensive one .

Soccer is one of the best sports in the world if you have the patience for it.

AFL was awesome until Andrew Dimitriou took over and made it soft. Still a great sport though.

I also prefer league over union. However, I am from Melbourne, and that may be why I prefer it. It just seems better structed than union, and flows better.

Basketball is great, just a shame that only the NBA dominates every other league.

NFL is awesome but, an 1hr matvh that last 3 times as long does make it really boring at times. If they fixed that, it would be the best sport IMO.

Soccer is soft. AFL is full of real men!

Soccer isn't soft and is way more skillfull than AFL. AFL is no longer full of real men. The only thimg that ruins soccer is how much players fake getting tackled. It's the only thing that ruins an awesome specticle, even if there arn't as many goals/points scored. People really must look past that and see just how great of a sport it is. It's so intence and full of drama, that it sucks you in so bad. However, if you can not see past a couple of bad things about the sport, then you shouldn't bag it at all, cause it does not deserve it at all.

He choked once in playoffs and he wasn't playing the QB role at the time. He does make big mistakes, no doubt. However, heaps of great Bs have. Also must remember that he is a late bloomer, and when it got his chance, he was a surprise to all. It's easy to bag him, but without him, the Cowboys will be as bad as the Browns. Now with a new coach (finally), the team will play a more balnced atyle of football. Not saying we will win the superbowl just yet, but give us a couple sewasons before we can be the team to beat.
