Yeah the idea i had in mind was rank the 32 teams from 1 to 32.
ranks 1 to 16 are in PL A
ranks 17-32 are in PL B

But i know a lot of people in the XBB dont like that idea of not being able to play with each other.. they dont like the idea of being relegated to play in a different PL.

So maybe we can have like XBB, currently have 5 core members, with an addition 3 members who we will choose as we see fit.
iv7 with yoda and his crew.. and they will choose as they see fit.
Then two more captains come up and choose their 8 players each. say PL C and PL D

then maybe rotate the teams aruond every second year e.g
season 15 xbb versus iv7
PL c versus PL D
season 16
xbb versus PL D
iv7 versus PL C

I agree mostly with yodabig, I can see where he's coming from and I also don't want to disrespect to anyone idea. Just hoping everyone would keep things simple and practical "KISS".

Instead of breaking up and mixing up teams. Why don't we just keep 2 sides, the light and the dark side (something that the new comers can relate to).

like yodabig said, we'll have 2 divisions or 3 if we need to. People can choose if they want to be on the dark side aka XBB aka Sharks. Everyone has a choice of joining the division AND SIDE they want, if they don't give us their preference now OR they will be on the Free Agent and will be drafted by us at the end of the season (XBB gets first pick because we're coming first).

For balancing the competition in each division, we'll have a total salary cut off. say, 350k+ will go to div 1, 349k and under go to div2 unless they chose to be in div1. e.g, possum might want to be in div1 but have to consider if he or she will enjoy getting whipped every week by c-cat and others.

Regarding to our current mvp and weekly ladder, we'll have 2 ladder ranking, 1 for div1 and another for div2. at the end of the season, we'll determine which side wins by point difference of both div1 and div2.

The key here is give people options to choose, we don't want it to be restrictive and reduce the bond and fun we have now. hope this make sense....

Adding to this, 2 divisions should be using 1 forum (1 thread), do not separate the 2 divisions.

something like what you said, you can rank people using the BB ranking or you can rank people by total salary. up to you guys.
I don't mind XBB go to div 2, aslong we get to whip some of the IV.7 a$$ hahaha


P.S I like starwars name since we're all geeks here, XBB will be the dark side, from all the dirty tricks we've done and with all the anger inside of us.

I think that the BB rankings are too heavily based on the cup. I'd rather see the rankings done by salary, or more specifically, by the salary of your 5 starters combined.

anyways, I like that idea with 5 starters salary, tho there's a flaw in its self, e.g like your roster now lol... 0 for 9 with those starters

From an outsiders point of view i like that idea of being drafted into a team dat....

Just to give another option as to confuse you all more, have you thought about a group division relegation / promotion type set up.

i.e 32 teams, 8 groups of 4, 4 groups in each division

Groups can be existing and new entries form new groups of 4. Then anyway best 4 groups in division 1, worst 4 in division 2 or existing groups start division 1 and new groups start division 2. Then play the season, all the teams from the div2 winning group get promoted to div1 and vice versa for the losing group in div1. That way the teams in 1 group get to all play together, there will still be a change over of teams from season to season and it will allow for more teams to enter and for the league to expand, basically new teams of 4 could enter in division 3 the following season.


Just throwing it out there feel free to trash the crap out of it as while i have the gist of what you guys have I'm still not 100% so it might be completely useless and irrelevant

yeah 4 teams of 4 wont work since xbb has 5 people
and iv7 has like about around 5-6 people too..

better if it was 8 teams of 2 per PL

Yeah i don't think 2 teams of 8 per PL would work either, basically 1 team stays and 1 goes relegation wise. Ah well, scrap that!

im not fussed either way, though salary isn't a full proof method either because some teams might just have a really good player but not necessarily mean they're a top team because the best player is surrounded by scrubs.

i also dont think the Rankings is 100% either because it is heavily skewed by the cup run a team may have had, though in saying that, Koops had a poor cup run but is still the highest ranked out of us all isnt he? hahah
