Yeah....thats the one.

100k was already 2x the transfer estimate and I needed additional funds for a big ABBL purchase as I will struggle this season in league competition. Needless to say I didn't know how high the other guy was willing to go either so didn't want to risk a big bid.

It is a pity because he fitted in with my training regime and what I was going to train. Guess this is what annoy you NT managers the most where inexperienced teams pay loads of $$$ for young players only to not train them properly

Well the good news is he only had 2 fouls. The worst thing would be to spend all that money and then find out that he fouls out in 16 minutes every game. What I would suggest is if you can play him in one of your earlier games in the week against an easier opponent where he wont cost you the win so if he doesn't get 48+ you can just get him a couple more minutes in the cup/scrimmage game. I hate it when my coach subs out players for no good reason. I am very careful to ensure all players have a position, that I have 9 (or 8 in JS/1on1 training) only dressed, that i have selected "strictly follow depth chart" and "let them play" but sometimes the coach still does annoying things.

Does India get home court advantage for every game, even when listed as Away?

Yes. Best country in Consolation gets home court advantage to continental cup.

Wow really? That is amazing! We actually have a really interesting draw which would give us a great chance to make some noise if only we just had 1 or 2 decent big men. Sigh...

Ghana U21 twice got the home court in this way His coach was smart and lucky to maximize the opportunity. Italy NT surprisedly was kicked out of Euro cup two seasons ago (a little big drama) and focused on Consolation, won it -.- and got the home court to last Euro cup.

Consolation should not be wasted out, as top teams will participate to World Cup.

Yeah that's true. Some players' agressiveness just seem too extreme...6 fouls in 15 minutes...if he was like that, I'd be pretty pisses off not only because it'll screw up my training schedule but also because I've spent a lot of money so that I can train him well.
This week I could only play him in today's cup game because I only got him yesterday. But next week I'm probably going to play him on the first game. I'm not worried about losing games this season since I want to come 6th or 7th and get a good pick in the draft etc.
Even with 8 players, he got subbed out...this is really annoying. Even Hashmat only played 46 minutes on Tuesday's league game...this week really isn't my week. I've been giving 48 minutes to 3 players (one position) for the past 6/7 weeks successfully without any trouble...and all of a sudden, this trouble...hopefully these were just a coincidence and not some changes in game engine or something.

seasons ago it was told by BB that there was a "hidden skill" about foulness/aggressiveness. That is why some players are very often fouled out.

Nice that I left something more than I thought I had left :) about the home games :)

But about this aggressiveness things... My hall of famer SF is 12/12 in defence and still sometimes I have trouble with him. And I have another guy my 22 years old SF is 13/11 in defence and never in his career he has been foulded out. (almost hihi)
that sucks

Yes the aggressiveness stat is a confirmed hidden stat. I know a guy from the Fishbowl PL who has a player with wondrous ID in a league where proficient is normal and he still fouls out all the time and is often injured. Mind you he also fouls out his opponents and injures them too. But this team has several agressive players and usually has a very big imbalance in free throws.

I am glad that our future MVP isn't like this.

It is annoying but we had one bit of good luck/good planning. We had one truly world class player in the draft this year and lucky us his manager went bot this monday, and we had already identified and saved him. Then Samurai_Tungi probably the best trainer of young prospects in India had the massive funds, $2,000,000 to buy him. At 18 he is a backup on the team this season and will be a starter by age 20.

There will be another interesting 18 year old Indian free agent up for sale on Monday and probably not too expensive. I think this is not a breach of the rules because he is not currently for sale.

Dinesh-Kumar Roy (19778686)
Weekly salary: $ 3 965
Age: 18
Height: 6'10" / 208 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: inept
Driving: average Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: awful Free Throw: mediocre Experience: atrocious

His issues. The awful IS is awful and may put you off. All star potential is also a worry, I wish he had just one more potential.

His advantages. I love big men who can pass and it doesn't get better than that. Add the reasonable driving and handling and he will be fine in an outside based offence. The second best thing is his JS and JR are both great for a big man and will need minimal training. Centers are a dime a dozen but guys that can step out and hit the outside shot are gold. Finally if trained properly he will be way above the normal standard of our big men. In fact at age 19 if he was respectable, prominent, prominent he would possibly make the team.
