i still do think 2-3 is broken .

just thought the result of this game judging by the ratings alone should have been different .

2-3, for the most part in my view, is a pretty horrendous tactic that rarely works. At best it is a desperation tactic.

I did have some limited success with it a couple of times in the 21s, but that's mainly through playing LI and using the rebounding boost offered by the 2-3 to get a heap of easy putbacks (I know, it shouldn't affect offensive rebounding, but it does appear to...)

rad - the only problem is, is it looks like there has been a massive power explosion and now everyone is sucking up to every abbl team possible, kind of against the original spirit of the league, but it is like an arms race, kevin has scared the poop out of everyone with their 4-5 abbl teams for next season, so everyone is trying to arm themselves

we have been looking at adding a d4 team, we must be stoopid!

i could propose some solutions but they will probably make everyone very angry and upset

@iwen, good match that was. I set the roster before flying off so I didn't really have time to check out your players' game shapes and injuries. I don't know why but Jorn couldn't take advantage of all those FTs. Duffman, had no problem scoring inside FG is still over 50%, rebounding is still 20+ with 3-2 formation. clearly a stand out PF.

@seagulls, snuffies is a threat and a bigger threat if he has a big saving for another SF. Anyways, I am back and ready to attack.

If it is broken why use it?

I also think it is broken. I have had several similar results to that game of yours where I dominated in ratings (player and team) and still lost.

Of course Duffil is a great PF, if you ran Man to Man he prolly would have been smashed on the perimeter but lucky for you Dell spent most of his game shooting against guards.

The reason you lost was the guard productivity was awful. McArthur and Ton are really hard to shoot over.

Snuffie's strength is my defensive strength. His guards won't be a problem. I'm surprised if he was able to make money, considering he was relegated and such, he'd be borderline on income.

Snuffles did have 3 seasons in the ABBL so could have an absolute fortune tucked away. I have no idea but I just think he looks really scary and I am glad he isn't in my league. Mind you we have Hopelessly Addicted and his $700,000 roster so we have our own issues too.

Rad I will start a thread somewhere for the Federations to start listing their rosters for season 4 so we can get a better idea who will be back and how many spots there are for new teams, we keep on inviting people but don't have enough spots to fit them all.
