I see decent trainees at reasonable price at the beg of the season
But I have to basically tank the season which I am training a 18/19old full time like right now
That is where the game runs into a dilemma
I don't think they can change the drafts anymore
I would just like an additional scrimmage game a week to train some new bees

Yeah, training players while being competitive is one of the big challenges of this game.
I was so happy when Spencer improved enough to be able to start and contribute in games so I could just get his training minutes as part of his regular playing time. Then, it became tough again when I want to train him out of position at PF or C, and I have to move the PF or C to SF where they aren't quite as effective.
Ideally, a team full of uber-versatile players would make all training lineups much easier to manage.

That's where I was fortunate - I was able to train my three bigs as guards and stay afloat in III for a few seasons and then started working on their ID/RB before promoting, and then by the time I got here they could play well enough to be feasible starters. I'm still trying to figure out what's going to be next, though - I am pretty sure that I'd beat most teams in the league and perhaps the country in a "you can only play guys you've trained from 18" match. Most of those wins, in fact, would be walkovers. But the guards are starting to get up in age and the big men aren't youngsters any more either.

There's no need, thanks to rebounding for team training! And things like IS for SF/PF/C!

And I hear that if you do that team/ 3 position training for 37 consecutive weeks, you get a huge bonus on week 38. Try it! Tell you what... If I'm wrong I'll give you a coupon for a Burger King original chicken sandwich. Can't beat that!!! (Well provided I can find one in Hrudey's mailbox that is. But I'm thinking I can, so don't worry too much.)

I think I trained Team Rebounding in my first training week ever back in 2011, before I learned how training works (more or less). I actually did get one pop with a new player I had just signed, so I was pretty stoked.

I had a single player get 3 pops from a team training once. Not kidding either!

Did you seek out becoming a GM? Or, how did it happen? Give us all the juicy details. (Did you BB-sleep your way into BB-power?)

Anyway, do you mind if I sign you up for more junk mail / coupon mailers? Seems I'll need to start offering multiple Hrudey coupons to entice team training...

I think I'll try to get Valpak sent in your dog's name too...

I think I need to ban you for attempting to get me to discuss staff decisions.

But, no, I didn't seek it out. They were looking for someone to do the job and whatever standards they use to determine that were set low enough that after exhausting their candidates of ham sandwiches, I guess they turned to me. I guess it's a positive development that I received the offer by reading the BB-Mail directly, rather than you snatching it from the mailman while I was away from the mailbox. All of these coupons in my name and I still haven't received a single one!

Did someone say ham sandwiches?

It seems strikingly important at this moment to divulge that my character in that old online multi player game, Heroes, was named Ham Sandwich.
