Okay so the power forward is very important.

What about playing like the Magic or Suns - can it be done?

They'll take quite a few jumpshots. It's needed.

You won't find that as an accurate representation of how LI will play. That team was abhorrent, so of course you will get what you want after time down the court, but when facing a quality, zoning opponent, the bigs will receive at the top of the key and either shoot, pass or drive. If you get good passes you can get layups, but those are fewer than the amount of turnarounds, post shots and jumpshots from 5 or so feet when facing a tough defense.

That's a helpful example - it does look like this is a very inside oriented tactic - from that game and others I've looked at, teams are only shooting 3s when getting crowded out by the defence inside. So this seems more like the Laker offence.

How about a more balanced 3 point shooting + inside scoring tactic? Should I be looking at Princeton? Any further inputs welcome.

Push the Ball, Base Offense and Patient are balanced offenses.

I just realised...Run and Gun must be the 3 point shooting offence. But I dunno if that offence includes drive and kick out or is just pass and shoot.

Then how should it be looked at?
