I tend to agree that as the rules are now there should be no punishment, and in fact, I am not sure punishment should be added to the rules for walkovers in the B3. I actually several seasons back was in a league final series against a fellow I consider to be a good friend, and after getting destroyed at his arena in game 1, I knew I had no chance of winning the series. We agreed that he'd throw game 2 and I'd throw game 3 for revenue, and we tried to set up our players for individual scoring records. Fun times.

I think in this scenario it may have been better to try to do the same, and maybe to make it public for those who follow the predictions. But when no training is impacted and no other teams either, the harm involved is next to nothing.

(Please note for the record that I have not been abducted by aliens and I am in fact apparently in agreement with Lemonshine. 2016 is indeed a strange year.)

Wrong thread. The Suggestions forum is somewhere else. Or so they tell me every single time! How strange how things change when those same people are outraged at something else! No coherence, as suspected.

Anyway I digress. I totally agree that you should be punished by the fans for a no show or, even worse, for fielding a crappy team all season long (tanking), so if you open a thread to make changes about this, I will totally support it. As things stand, with the current rules and game mechanics, managers are not punished, there are no rules against tanking or tactical walkouts (to fiddle with the leagues standings, like dropping below another team while having better PD for example).

Besides there have been people complaining about the B3 Enth for as far back as I can remember and nothing, absolutely nothing has been done or said by the staff. Darkonza was one of those who complained because he has one of the toughest leagues in BB. There is no reason for B3 not to be treated like the NT competitions.

Also, you want to remove the free pass for champions, but should we talk about the money you get from B3 games? Is that fair and why?

As you know, this game was designed to look like the football game Hattrick. And Hattrick's champion's tournament was designed from the Champions League. And the Champions league champion does not get a free pass every year. And I know for a fact that a walkover would not have happened if he would have to earn his spot every year.
So it seems to me that there is an easy fix to stop this crap in the future.

And to answer your question, they made it to the BB3, they should get money. Also, I think it should go back to the old style of 1 and done if you lose. It was way more exciting back in the day.

I think it's better for you to consider punishing managers for losing games intentionally in national leagues which affect other managers' final standings. This guy did not make any harm to other users, just to himself and he doesn't deserve to be punished.

He didn't harm any other users but he did harm to the game. The game is on life-support as it is and to make a JOKE out of the FINAL game of the BB3 is just wrong. I wonder how many users are not logging in to the game after that?

When the end game is to make it to the BB3 and win it, and this happens...why play?

This could be the thought process of many users today.

Before we congratulate our new B3 winner, there are some B3 related changes to announce. Effective immediately, all B3 games will be played at a set enthusiasm of 12. No longer will smaller nation teams suffer an enthusiasm disadvantage due to shorter cup runs while larger nation teams will no longer be at the disadvantage of having to better manage their enthusiasm against tougher competition. The B3 is a tournament where the best teams in the world face off and we want them to be on a level playing field. May the best team win!
