but how is it "fun" basically doubling the salary of half the teams' starters? it's to the point where even if you won out the rest of the season, it's a non-accomplishment. & anything less is a complete failure.
i mean someone could sign up for a new BuzzerBeater account, login once a month for a few years (stockpiling their reserves), then buy the "enjoyment" of 5 $50k starters in div 5... would you honestly find that scenario "fun" too? No offense, but when one's only "tactic" is spending a boatload of $ more than everyone else, it's incredibly lame.
aside from not being a fan of the whole buying wins thing, doing so is essentially screwing over a bunch of teams. you'd clearly auto-relegate, even with the 6th highest payroll. so now, you force a non-deserving team into 8th. congratulations? and you force even tougher teams into the 6th & 7th slots, meaning the other conference gets screwed in relegation matchups. congratulations again?
anyway just my opinion.
(& yes, before it comes up, i could easily spend the same amount. probably even more. guessing many other teams could too...)
