Hi,
I'd like to ask some questions about that Princeton's prediction issue.
I quite like to use Princeton since it offers different shot opportunities that fit my roster skills : passing for everyone, balanced shooting on the 4 spots (guards and forwards), some IS aswell for 3 or 4 guys on the 5 in the court. What i observed is that if an inside shot is taken, it is on the 10 first seconds of the possession. Past the 13th second, more are midrange shots (70% i'd say). On the last 5 seconds, only deep shots. But open deep shots can be taken in the start of the possession aswell ... Anyway.
One thing is sure, the Center gets very few points compared to the 4 other guys.
And even if the other 4 guys score mostly inside/around the paint, the rating at the end of the game is better on Outside Scoring and remains low in Inside Scoring.
The reason is evident : scoring ratings in the box score are linked to the position (PG, SG SF etc) and not to the shooting spot on the floor !
My question is about the prediction against a princeton :
if you say that the focus will be inside, does it target C and PF or does it mean shots in the paint ?I would say it will target the C (mostly) and PF (slightly) ... which means it is a bad prediction.
So it would be an Outside / Slow tactic, still it can offer many inside shots ... problematic !!! ^^
I'll try to get you some examples on my past games for the princeton inside shot issue.
Edit : some examples
(60008908) , QT : 1-2-4 . More made shots inside the paint than outside. Better outside scoring rating than inside, less points for the C compared to the other 4 guys.
Cheers
