except that their team is better than ours... so i'd rather face em when they got a low enthousiasme ;)

Today, Belgium got close to breaking their alltime record in pointdifferential in one game. The record was 68 points, achieved in season 16 during the consolation tournament in a game against Ireland. Today, Belgium literally trashed their opponents by 60 points, dishing out a 54-114 beating to the visiting team Prahet Thai. It should be noted that Prahet Thai put in more enthousiasme in this game, and that if they had matched our enthousiasme of the game, we probably would have been able to break our previous record.

Never the less, Belgium is currently second in the ranking in the consolation tournament, behind the inevitable Argentinian team ( who have one of the easiest and most ridiculous schedules i've ever seen in a consolation tournament).

Next game will be in and against Costa Rica, where the Belgiums hope to assure themselves of a qualification for the final 32 ( which would be accomplished by winning the game against Costa Rica). Winning 5 games and having an enormous difference in points, assures you of participation in the final 32 KO stages, tho the belgian NT will be looking to get better than just a simple participation (we'll at least be aiming for a game with HCA in the first round of the KO stages, meaning finishing in the top 16 during the preliminaries)

keep the Gs under control goes, next week is a crucial game, and i'd love to secure our spot in the final 32 next week already!

forget about the 7-1 now. Costa Rica ended up CTing us, which i'm pretty unhappy about. it puts us in an annoying situation where we'll have to try and win against Germany or Hungary, hoping that Hungary won't end up screwing us over with a CT of their own...

i would have prefered to attack inside, but if 3 bigmen all get injured the saterday before the game, then good luck on the inside attack. Though luck having Marchoul, Hemerijckx and Ballaert all injured... This is one of those games where things just don't go the way you like em to go...

i was out monday, as i had warned you before.

my logic was plain and simple. I put the best defender on the the guy who was the most dangerous. Yet i can't help but find it extremely frustrating that Costa Rica got 1/4th of the points from FT's...

As for princeton, the starter would have been easy at the PF. but we didn't have a back up, and you and i both know that Freire ( despite the weekly psy that the NT pay in order to get Freires boxing issues under control) fauls out way to fast. So i had no alternative their.

Likewise, LI/LP with Lahure, Fleeton and Mees, who all are faul happy, was too risky. i don't understand the CT part, and i'm pretty annoyed with it. As for the line up, all that was to be explained, was written in a mail. If i were to explain any more, i'd have to write down to much info about the NT's players, which i'd rather not do. If you were satisfied by the line up, so be it. I'm pretty sure i had every angle covered defensifly, but the thing that was the real killer was the zone defence. I really was hoping to avoid that 3-2 zone, but i would have played 3-2 aswell if my opponent loses 3 bigs on saterday.
