Wow my game tonight was absolutely brutal, had 2 starters down due to injury in a 9 man rotation, and scraped away with a 6 point OT win. I thought my 2 players were gone indefinitely but the BB Gods have smiled upon me, 1 is out for a week, the other is fine (had a Raja Bell Flop moment).

No profit but trained for an entire season and wages of 13 x up to $30,000 a week. So probably about a $300,000 loss and a wasted season of training.

So overall he has turned over his team and turned an entire season of training into a small loss of about $200,000 and the taxes.

So Iwen I agree, he is a really brilliant individual but seems to be really directionless at the moment.

However, yes, it is odd what he is doing, I agree. Maybe he is just trying to buy his way back into div2 with old guys.

The fact that I trained guys for a whole season (and trained them well considering I got a minimum of 1 pop per player every week in good skills) and could only sell them for roughly the same price that I bought them shows me that training is useless for profit purposes.

As for the comments regarding salary costing me money the whole season, that isn't correct because I was under the Player Salary Floor the entire season, so I wasn't paying any extra salary for having all these players on my roster :)

And yes, I plan on buying my way back to div 2, then tank again and train and hopefully get a draftee worth keeping and hopefully land in an easier div 3 :P

Good luck man, It probably would have been fine if you landed in any other Div III this season but you should expect at least a little challenge from PP, Akuma, Donuts, RIC, REN etc etc lmao.

Yeah if I had landed in another div 3 then I would have kept training, but I don't think my trainees were good enough to gaurantee promotion this season so I decided to sell them instead and buy some old people :D
