You've probably noticed a number of players added and dropped on the U21 roster. That's me taking advantage of the offseason window to see where some players are at without having to take the enthusiasm hit. I think I've got most of the information I need now and I will be deciding how we should inest the roster spots in the next couple days. I'll make another posting when I'm finished.

Thanks,
Coach Taiyo

This is merely a perspective of a new manager, but perhaps information before rather than after would help people understand what's occurring.

I have completed making the selections for the core of the team this year and have sent out communications to each of the owners. We still have 5 free roster spots and I plan to use those to invest in the future of U21 and NT. I am looking to add some 19 year olds that have strong or at least solid potential and have shown a good focus on development already. I have found that the players I invest in early end up developing to be the strongest.

I will be contacting some target players' onwers in the coming days to confirm their interst and focus on development. Following, I will also be contacting the top new draftees to let them know of our interest in their players and to get them focused on a good development plan.

There are a numer of B-mails to send so please be patient with me. I do have a regular Job and family as well.

If you'd like to contact me directly about your player please feel free to send me a note.

Taiyo

Look at the depth of their talent compared to ours. They look very strong this season. I can only speculate on how they are accomplishing with the limited size of their country.

Hello Japan,

Greetings from Macau.

I was as surprised as you are to see us win by so much with only TIE, did you use normal as well in the previous game against England?

We are a small country but lucky to still managed 40-50 players at any one time. Again I'm surprised at countries like yours and Korea do not have more players given your population (Macau pop: 500,000 -- I thought we all like pc games and like basketball, look at China, Taiwan and Phillipines). So we don't have many trainees, and as you can experience yourself, quite a struggle. This is my 4th season as U21 manager and it's only now that we have 2 or 3 really decent players. It's still a long struggle.

Good luck rest of the tournament.

PS. Are you the same Japan U21 manager 3 seasons ago when we play at the Asian Championship 1st round?

Another match, my player Mitsuo (with 19 years old was the 2nd best player in the II.1, and 20 years old MVP of II.1) was the star! I'm very happy for that, but he is only Allstar and it is very probably that in a short time, he will stuck.
