He is definitely one of the best trainees out there. Not sure if he is worth the money, though. He is really only selling for that much because of his NT/U21 possibilities (you have to think of what your return will be on him - if you are already starting at 3 million that means a long road to make a profit).

Anyhow, what I thought was funny was this:

Player x is probably better than all 22 of these players, but the few that are most similar have been selling for around $ 350 000 to $ 550 000.

I have been getting a message like that for Wendon for quite a few seasons now (although Wendon's hovers around 3 million) but obviously he is worth quite a bit more than that.

That actually makes it sound like he wants you to train guard skills for at least the next 2 seasons... Personally I don't agree if you are turning him into a SF (you keep his salary low by going to the inside skills now, plus they will take longer to train, so it is better to do them now). But that's just me.

lol i really misread his message to me, I must have read it 10 times and i htought it said internal everytime!! Wow, that's sad.... I am most likely going to train a little bit of both this season.

Dear All, I know this might belong in the training speed thread but its valid here too as the people reading this thread all share an interest in building some quality SF's.

My Q is about how quickly OD (or slowly) it trains on players 6'4-6'8.... how noticeable is the difference from the 6'0 guards... My 6'10 guy I know I should stop training but I keep thinking just 1 more pop!

There is a 6'5 Legendary OD player on the market right now and I'm curious to learn the time it took between skill ups to achieve this.

I wanted to wait for others to reply first, as I have no definite answer... But here is what I can tell you for single position training: Wendon is 6'10" and when he was 23, it was 4 weeks for an outside d pop (at 24, it took 6 weeks, but I may have had skill cap issues, too). Last season Vacirca (at 6'4" and 22 yrs old) took 3 weeks to get an outside d pop. And someone on the Canada off-site forum mentioned that their 6'7" 19 yr old took about 3 weeks to get an outside d pop.

We are playing tomorrow? I did not know you moved to Canada. I just hope it is some kind of swap with jbmcrock or oeuftete, as adding a third unbeatable team would not be nice.

Anyhow, although playing my SFs at PG is not the ideal situation, Ngakame and Vacirca do quite well there. The trick will be what I will do with my new trainee (when I pick one up). I just hope to get a lot of easy Cup games this season!
